You stumbled into a subreddit where 95% of the 'people' are bots
You could take the 5% of actual people in that subreddit, literally shove the video of Joe Biden admitting to bribing Ukraine with 1 billion dollars down their throat and show them Hunter's paychecks, and they would call it whataboutism and dismiss it entirely, because orange man dared to ask about the billion. Obviously asking about the billion is worse than being the one withholding it.

I spent a lot of time doing it a while ago, and gave it up because 99% of time it was NPCs I was trying to convince, and the remaining 1% it would be a fellow patriot pretending to be NPC to troll them.
But yeah, the whole reddit is pretty much 95% bots and shills.
The way it works is they astroturf threads immediately in /new and then brigade the properly manufactured ones without wrong think top comments into visibility and bury any competing threads of a similar nature that have failed to be manipulated. That's why when the isis leader was killed under trump only threads without Trump in the title were allowed to rise to the front page.
They literally openly talk about faking it until the site started making it. They have been astroturfed since day zero. The fringe minority are the meat space dwellers that aren't paid by click farmers and instead gulp down the tard Kool aid happily.
Most if not all of their arguments are based in emotion, so it makes it really easy to want to latch onto things like whataboutism, and they use it as a tool often because they have to - our tool is logic, which they dont have. If they didnt have whataboutism to latch onto, they would be forced to look into what Trump wanted to look into, and they fear that something is actually there. They dont want anything to be there, but they fear that it is...
Yeah exactly. I don't even remember what it was exactly but I know I was giving him some fact about Hunter Biden laptop and he started getting loud with me and was like ' that's all you republicans do, go on and on with the whataboutisms'
I was like, well what would be a good resolution to the situation then? At that point he was just so pissed off at me he couldn't even talk to me anymore. He was all red in the face too. Over me presenting a fact that the laptop and pictures exist.
Then he started going on about how trump has the blood of millions of Americans on his hands. I think he said 5 million people or something like that.
I refuse to believe actual functioning people spend their time on reddit, let alone on r/themueller. It's a shill farm meant to sweep lefties (that already believed the message) off their feet by making them believing they aren't the only ones that care about their ridiculous-bullshit hate-based politics.
I know people who spend time on reddit at least in specific topics like cooking, gaming etc. You are probably right about the muller, but even for standards of a shill/bot sub this is hilarious.

People love saying these comments are from bots.
Hate to tell you, but 90% of those comments are real lunatics.
I disagree.
I've seen average upvotes fall off dramatically due to Reddit banning real people.
Here's a screenshot I just took of /r/videos- https://files.catbox.moe/xfwcq9.png
The Johnny Depp video made it to /r/all and is still in 15th place on the Hot list a day later (which means no views once it fell off the front page).
Meanwhile, most of the videos on /r/videos are only getting 5-50 upvotes these days, tops.
Or Bots influencing Bots
I can go with that

They really all do use the same bulshit phrasing dont they? My lefty coworker just said 'whataboutism' to me yesterday.

AOC had similar numbers on her sub. I checked it like... Maybe a year or two ago.
250k members like 20 online. Damn near impossible.
The left STILL can't meme.
This is one of their better attempts. I give it a 3/10 because it's Friday and I'm feeling generous.
Bingo. Memes only work when you're the underdog and have truth on your side.
If I didnt know better I would have thought it was a badly made joke a Biden's expense lol
Don't stay on the Other Side of the Mirror for too long OP, I hear the air is poisonous over there. 😂
What do you mean?
This is the current top post on /r/science. Kek.

You mean by sending them the military aid he was accused of not sending, with nothing in return?
Honestly, I dont even know what the supposed "bribe" is. Even the commenters seem to realise it.
When the other side is told propaganda opposite the other side, this will happen.

Hillary Clinton literally accused Trump of what she did back in 2016. Now they are doing it with Biden. Remember the impeachment over a phone call?
How I feel about that stupidity.
