Why does she think that in cat or dog language there are only two genders? Some human languages have 16 (I think?) genders! The whole gender thing is so English Language based.
Some human languages make no gender distinctions at all! If a human language has two genders they are not necessarily: male and female. Some human languages like all their pronouns to agree with both the gender and case of the noun in the sentence. I would love to see approved lists for every language currently in use.
