I did, in fact, experience a chill. I had to imagine the names being Dopey, Sneezy, Grumpy, Bashful, Dancer and Blitzen to get over it.
LMAO
I understood exactly the point, felt said chill, and powered through it. Guys, I think I'm ready to toss the ring in to the lava.
wait until you notice the shadows of the ghost kids heads in panel 2. Lamp, headboard, blanket, and floor...
Now it's chilling all over again.
Holy shit. Great eye.
Someone else pointed it out when the comic first surfaced. Now every time I see it reposted it gives the shivvers.
Single bed, wine, it's all there in this comic. Very clever!
GPrime is a freakin' genius. In an alternate reality, where truth rules the world, his comics would be syndicated on every single newspaper in the world.
This would unironically make a great movie premise.
I know Hollywood will never do it.
Any indie filmmakers here?
Every waking hour, of every waking day, the guilt must be overwhelming if one isn't a psychopath.
Or become a psychopath to cope.
You would need to be a psychopath to have six abortions. Or patently insane.
This is where Alpabet People come from. That poor little boy.
I swear I've seen this before.
George Alexopoulos's work (GPrime85) https://twitter.com/GPrime85
Great stuff.
This artist does a lot of based comics. I forget his name :(
It's... look at the comic, again.
WHOA!!
Brutal. I may be naive, but I truly hope that no woman would do that 7 times... Surely once would be traumatic under any circumstance, and would bring one to some kind of understanding of personal responsibility. Anyone making repeat visits to a clinic to end a life has lost their humanity. It's horribly sad, how easy we are to trick and manipulate, use and abuse.
The good news is that we're seeing behind any number of curtains now, however awful the truth is and has been...because we have to see it to be free of it.
And so it is, and so it shall be.
Was on a train in NYC area (decades ago) and heard a young lady (in her early twenties) behind me telling her friends that she'd already had six abortions. She added that "How am I going to bring a kid into this world when I can't even take care of myself?" Yes. Unfortunately it does happen and has been for some time.
Wow this comic brought an interesting memory of my childhood.
There were two figures in my childhood. Ghosts of something, memory is hazy on their details, but remembered they were human and "my size." Didn't think of it much, mom believed they were demons.
Over time they faded away, and more years after that learned my mother was forced to get an abortion, of twins, from my then step father (absolute violent psychopath).
So I can't say for certain what they were. But I always wonder if they were my siblings.
Also, I did marry into a family who has a history of twins up to my wife, who is a single child. Which is quite interesting in this context.
That gave me chills. Wow.
Oof. Put this shit all over twitter. GOGOGO
Wow!
Chilling doesn't begin to describe it. I think I saw another one that said two kids.
