Well, personally I've always thought that the Bureau Of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency, so you can probably imagine how I feel about this meme.
Well, technically all gun laws are unconstitutional so it would be one's own choice whether they would want to sell that way or not. True freedom doesn't need permission.
More people need to understand your last sentence. We have gotten into such a big mess because of this! It has just gotten worse because now people are so afraid to discuss openly even with family how they actually feel about things. So you have a bunch of people that for some reason feel they need permission to behave a certain way, but are deathly afraid of asking for it, and also don't realize they don't even need permission in the first place.
Yes. But also I can see a security flaw in that. But acquiescence assumes that the government is acting in good faith and not restricting the type of weaponry purchased.
No, not by mail. Once you are I the data base for purchasing a firearm, you should then be able to purchase via mail or in store by providing relevant data. You have already been checked in the data base for a felony before purchasing the first time.
Shall not be infringed means, shall not be infringed. That database is as illegal as all gun laws.
You may not like it but the constitution does not say a felon can't own a gun. It says you can own a gun to protect yourself from the gun owning felon.
I guess you used to be able to send in soem loose bills and an address to the sears catalog and get guns and shootings were even less common back then so...
I think that people who don't understand the Constitution and how freedoms work should not have the Right to speak freely.
The 2nd Amendment does not have ANY qualifiers in it. Even criminals who have served their times and completed any subsequent parole time - including felons - should be allowed to purchase and carry arms. If there is a problem with that, then the sentence was too light (law not strong enough) - or the parole board screwed up - and the criminal should not have been let out.
The laws prohibiting a felon not being allowed firearms AFTER they have completely served their time / parole are completely unconstitutional. If they are too dangerous to society to be allowed to have firearms, then they are too dangerous to be let out of prison.
I understand, but think if you are a criminal you violated other's rights then you lose yours. Pretty simple. No not some schmuck that stole a Snickers when he was 19 y.o.
I hate to brag, but I own a few 2A goodies that I bought from folks I've never made eye contact with AND with whom I've never swapped any paper other than cash/money order AND that were shipped by the United States Parcel Socialists.

Probably one of the most profound sentences I've ever read here. Thank you, Patriot! πΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈ
Meme harvested.
The ATF should be a convenience store. If you can sell a country by mail, then why not?
Yes, it's always been that way.
Yes. But also I can see a security flaw in that. But acquiescence assumes that the government is acting in good faith and not restricting the type of weaponry purchased.
Yes that's how it was up until 1968,they used the Kennedy murders to make it illegal.
That was a twofer for them.
They are probably still laughing about it.
I've heard about guys that bought 20 mm at that time, you could order them out of shotgun news.
yes
There should be an online catalogue of guns to purchase the same as getting anything from Amazon.
Why not? The right to bear arms shall NOT be infringed upon.

You could do that back in the day...Sears catalogue from 1919.

Why not? Ammo comes by mail.
I would like to purchase the M2. Does that come with a free case of ammo by mail? No? Put me down for 2 cases please.
I think criminals and mentally disturbed people with issues in the past should not have this right.
Anyone on just a short term rx for any anti depressant would be forever banned. Best have your own gun to protect you from someone unstable.
