As a 7th generation Texan, I'm ecstatic to see the imposter Bush family lose their influence. They came to Texas chasing the oil boom after WW2 and used the family ties with massive capital in the Northeast / Washington to secure their millions and bring the family power down into Texas. This family and their legacy have been a stain on this state from the moment they arrived.

I went and voted for Paxton today in the runoff, the thought of baby bush being our AG is horrifying. I think this is the first time in my life that a Bush hasn’t been in office. I was born when Sr was VP for Reagan.

Ditto but I’m not thrilled with the Paxton family. Either. He and his wife have their own concerns. Sure wish there were better candidates to choose from.
