At the very least she has brought discredit on the military. The military is NOT a democracy, it's not a social engineering experiment, and it's not a place to air one's grievances in public. The rightful mission of the military is to act as a deterrence to foreign forces, and if necessary and directed by the Commander in Chief, to kill people and break things.

The command at Ft. Hood frequently covers things up. I see why she went public. Just look up the number of soldiers that have wound up dead while stationed there and the fishy stories surrounding them.
She didn't go public with anything. She just claimed someone was after her. She needs to be clear on why this is happening. Otherwise, it appears she's just mentally ill.
This doesn't surprise me at all. Fort Hood has had a slew of problems over the past decade or so. Shootings in 2009 and 2014. Their sexual assault prevention officer was dishonorably discharged in 2015 for running a prostitution ring. In 2020 alone, 39 soldiers died or went missing (most connected to sexual assault, some committed suicide due to being assaulted, others appears to have been killed for sexual assault).
Not necessarily saying that putting everything on blast on social media is the best option, but I could certainly see the higher ups not wanting to make this stuff public as they already fired/suspended 14 officers due to allowing a dangerous environment on their military base or some such reasoning.
Clearly something odd is going on at Ft. Hood. It may be the Racine of military bases but

If this ISN'T the case then she's refusing to say WHY she thinks someone might be after her, which is kind of important in situations like this. If you have information that's damaging to someone you need to release it IMMEDIATELY. That's the only protection you have. Since we have absolutely ZERO information on what's going on I'm going to just assume this is exactly what it appears to be. A mental health arrest.
