I am that very person, depending on who I'm with or the company I happen to be in. If asked I'll give info/opinion, but I tend to be an observer of people. I guess lots of us introverts are like that.
I’m the same way - only speak on the topic when others bring it up. I also like to “play dumb” just to see how people are thinking. However, there is nothing better than finding other like minded people who are also awake. There is an indescribable bond formed.
There's also something to be said for carrying on with normal life. I usually talk about day-to-day stuff with most people. But I have more fun hanging out with the local Patriots.

Very true. I live 80 miles from Uvalde and ammo has been scarce for two years. I have to order it from Florida. No way that kid got a fully kitted out DD and all that ammo in two days. He would have had to spent days driving around the state to get all of that.
