The first season was cool!
For starters, they canceled HGC (the game's official esports league) in spectacularly poor fashion:

They also put the game into "maintenance mode" well before its time, before delivering on a lot of promises they had made at Blizzcons. When this happens to other games, you can usually forgive the developers - making an online game is very expensive and the margins matter.
But when it's Blizzard? Well, it's clear they'd rather spend untold sums of cash on "LBGTQ initiatives" and on desecrating their own IPs with trash mobile spinoffs, e.g. new Warcraft game:

Again, it's a damn shame because Heroes was the first genuinely good Blizzard title in I don't know how long. One of the best games of all time, if you ask me. I doubt any of the important devs are still at that company.
Yeah I had no idea I forgot about the game for awhile but that sucks...it was well done and a refreshing change compared to other mobas.
Unpopular opinion, games are programming just like all other media except more so. Targeted so that only a certain demographic will see it. Can be manipulated on multiple levels, from subliminal to hypnotic. Any oversight is compromised just like all other agencies.

Heard Chinese bought them out, then they banned and confiscated 10,000 from a player whom won playing in pvp tournaments simply for saying he supported the Hong Kong protesters (right before hoaxid hit) during a televised tournament ironically enough, and heard they censored certain comments (like trade chat) in the game.
Even though I hadnt played in years, still had toons I didnt want to give up. Blizzard is compromised and gave me an excuse to finally purge game from system.
Best expansion pack to play was Burning Crusade in the good ol’ days.
Microsoft bought them out recently.
And BC was cool, Wrath was king.
