Thank you all so much for your prayers! He’s home now! His stomach pain was completely unrelated to his elevated liver enzymes. They tested his numbers this morning and they came down quite a bit. He was negative for hep A, B, and C. Also negative for adenovirus. He did test positive for rhinovirus, which is literally just the common cold. Doctors don’t quite have an answer, but basically if he never had the stomach pain, he wouldn’t have gone to the hospital in the first place, and nobody would have been the wiser that his enzymes were elevated. He seems completely fine at this point. It sounded like they were going to keep him another day until the gastroenterologist came in and said he could go, but they want one more round of blood work later this week to make sure his numbers continue going down to normal levels. I truly appreciate everybody that took time out of their day to add my son in their prayers!

Great news. Prayer is powerful.
Praise God!!! I’ve been thinking and praying for your son quite a bit. This is so powerful. My voice broke telling my husband about it. God is with us🥰
God is good - thanks for the update date! Love some hopieum always-!
So glad to hear he is on the mend. God answered all of our prayers.
My kids have gotten strep as stomach pain. Idk why but doc mentioned it shows up that way in some kids. Maybe the rhinovirus/cold causs some postnasal drip which can cause stomach pain too
So they did what exactly?
Did you know that in 8% of cases, pneumonia presents as abdominal pain? https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF03002754
I guess they know they don't have a clue and figure the problem will either resolve itself or get worse which is why they're having you come back.
Good luck.
I'm happy to hear he is back from the hospital and getting better. I do believe he'll have a swift recovery if he is allowed to naturally rest and recuperate with proper fluid and protein intake, sleep and relaxation. If you really want to understand what happened to him, here are my suggestions.
Ask him if he was unusually angry about something a few weeks/months prior to these symptoms. During the period of anger, no symptoms will appear, however the body makes adjustments and augmentations in the liver and stomach in order to assist with resolving the anger conflict. His symptoms indicate he was holding on to some unresolved, potentially unacknowledged anger in the not-too-distant past.
Liver and stomach issues and pain follow after the anger has been resolved as the body returns itself to balance and homeostasis. Hepatitis is an indication of a lengthy period of deeply held anger that is typically either repressed, swept aside or unacknowledged by one's "superiors".
Viruses don't exist and 99.99% of doctors out there don't realize it.....yet! They, like us, have been profoundly miseducated, to the detriment of all of us.
Great news! Thanks for the update!
Oh that is wonderful news! Hold him tight. I
And more fiber! And water. Lol
Tudca is very good at bringing down those numbers.
That's great to hear - gives me hope for something I'm dealing with around my brother.
This is very good news. Continued prayers for his recovery.
Thank you Jesus!
Outstanding news! I'm happy to hear he is feeling better. Will continue to pray for you and him.
Thanks be to God.
So glad that your son is doing better. There are many different things that can temporarily elevate liver enzymes including tylenol, the new advil, certain allergy medications and antihistamines.
Prayer is very powerful. I'm so glad to hear the good news. Glory to God.
God answers our prayers in faith in Jesus name. Im so happy for you, God bless you and your family.
Yay!
Praise the Lord!
Thank GOD!!
It reminds me of when my son was in the hospital for a broken leg. They gave him some Tylenol on an empty stomach. This gave him a stomach ache, so they called in a gastroenterologist to evaluate him (10 minutes of asking questions and then charged us $350. This was 15 years ago. We disputed that charge, as well as the $12 for one Tylenol capsule.) Geesh. You have to watch EVERYTHING.
So thankful your son is doing well! Praise God!
Praise GOD Be Blessed We must bring back the Power of Prayer
