Very interesting, thank you.
As we know these sort of operations always have multiple purposes (first one is obvious - shaping narrative to attempt a gun grab).
Very interesting to know about the secondary purposes and why Uvalde specifically was chosen, such as this one!
October is the season when the property tax hikes will come again. Right before midterms.

Property taxes was/is their master plan.

What a liar. He knows damn well it is the local governments causing the misery. He's going to lie and try to blame republicans.
However, their strategy ran into a speed bump when normally sleeping local elections tossed out a whole bunch of their leftists minions.
Right after the May 7th local elections they scramble for a new narrative and strategy.
This is one of the main problems I see with Texas. Over the years, they have allowed the government to expand, due to ever-increasing influence of bat shit crazy libtards.
Rather than keeping the government small, like the original "Republic of Texas" concept, they have allowed it to expand to a point of being burdensome on the people. Because they want to keep their income tax at zero (which is a great thing), they have paid for this government expansion by increasing property tax.
The increases have got to the point that some old-timer Texans can no longer afford to pay the property tax on their own home.
An income tax can often be reduced at the individual level, but property taxes are much more burdensome to deal with.
If the government does not reduce in size, this problem will only get worse -- until poeple screetch enough that they demand a solution, which will come in the form of bat shit crazy libtards pushing for an income tax.
At that point, they will have BOTH an income tax AND high property taxes. All because they did not push to reduce the size of government.
It is becoming more and more clear that one of the biggest problems we have is that the individuals who run the RNC are corrupt and working against the People.
For anyone interested, the "Precinct Strategy" could be a solution:

This is great, Supra. Thanks for organizing all of this.
You're saying PA was (deliberately) given false information by his subordinates to make him the scapegoat in order to keep him off the city council? Where did you get the information that PA "...was told by his officer faulty information."? PA allegedly owns a storage facility and, unless it was false, he slams POTUS on the front page of that website so... I'm thinking he's not much of a conservative.
Then the building across the school field, being owned by the city, had a tenant manufacturing uniforms, W-D (acquired by VF which is in bed with the [R] family). They laid off the majority of their local workers in 2018, moving those operations south (west) of the border and the then-mayor sent a letter to POTUS that (I think) you're implying has some significance. I'm not following where the "oN" you highlighted is supposed to tie-in to.
So, the closure of the uniform manufacturing operations was to cause a tax deficit which would require property taxes to be raised, causing pain to the residents who would then blame Republicans?
The upshot here is that this shooting incident was orchestrated to both promote a gun-grab/anti-2A sentiment as well as remove a conservative (?) from the city council, all as a means to blame Republicans in the upcoming elections?
Also what the hell does Tarrant County and Brownsville TX have to do with Uvalde TX?
Local officials control property taxes. School boards are the main cause of skyrocketing property taxes in Texas. Leftists have this one ability to hurt conservatives badly even though the state government is republiclan.
Voting out school boards in May hurts that ability. They are trying to make people hurt. Since they can't use the state government, they use the city councils and school boards. They didn't expect parents to knock them out of so many school boards and council positions. Usually conservatives don't bother with small, local elections so the Left installs its people there in even the reddest of states.
Go to Oklahoma. At the state level it's all red. Go to the school board and it's full of leftists. This is a fundamental weakness. They've never had to worry about the local races because they never got challenged in local elections.
May 7th they got a taste of doom.
The baby formula panic. The push to scare parents. They're trying everything they can to change the narrative and get the pressure off local races.
Tarrant and Brownsville are just examples of how badly they got voted out of school boards in early May. This is why they needed a drastic change in tactics. They got beat out it in even south "blue" counties in Texas that turned red in 2020.
Their flip to red prevented the cheat in Harris from being enough to steal the state for Biden (and rural vote showed up in historic numbers). They thought it was a blip, but even the local elections in those hispanic areas are flipping to conservatives. it scares the hell out of democrats.
They got driven out at the state level, but they've NEVER been pushed out at the local level.
Not sure if you were intending this for me or the OP, but I think OP's inclusion of these headlines you bring up was to illustrate that conservatives have been gaining power in parts of Texas and, like his post title implies, the left is trying to keep this loss of their power from continuing. Apparently this Pete A dude, being attacked by MSM, ran on fiscal conservativism to win a city council seat (according to OP) so it's likening what has happened in those two other areas to a conservative takeover of the reins of power. (As mentioned in my above comment, I haven't been convinced Pete A is a conservative).
Could be as well. I pose one theory here.
The "oN" is just highlighted because I don't think it was just a typo. Trump also would put "THe" in a lot of his tweets back in the day and other typos. I think it's sometimes one of their methods of hiding certain messages. I don't know if it means anything, but sometimes posts are for me to go back and find the information.
The implication is that the warehouse was more than warehouse. Uvalde is right in one of the most strategic locations in a known and major drug smuggling corridor. Right now Southern California towns are being taken over by cartels. Even Texas border towns have long had a problem with cartels. There is no way Uvalde doesn't have their tentacles in it.
It's where two major highways meet and it's next to an airport with a heavy traffic flow. It's the perfect conduit for trafficking goods. A pipeline from the border to the rest of Texas and the US. That's the implication about the warehouse. It's also connected to the Rothschilds and Vanity Fair corporation (VF).
Cartels are all over that town even if they're well hidden, they are there.
Anything associated with the [R] family is suspect, agreed. VF acquired the uniform manufacturing firm then moved operations to MX during POTUS's term so it might have had an element of wanting to be free from scrutiny. Thirty cartel members would be easier to fake (as honest workers in a reputable firm) than a couple hundred. The proximity to the border makes me wonder if there might be tunnels under that city-owned site.
It sounds more like you're implying that the relocation of manufacturing operations and raising of taxes might be to drive out more residents and solidify the grip of cartels in that town. The swamp runs deep and wide.
Also, there is a uhaul facility and storage right next to that warehouse. Google Earth shows 19 uhaul vehicles there. This town has 1500 people. Why 19 uhauls? Perfect for moving drugs or people.
You articulated my thoughts perfectly, neighbor!
Working on moving to Texas because I want all of this. I would be perfectly okay with laws like that.
Question - How do the local governments / local boards of education raise property taxes?
https://texasscorecard.com/commentary/pratt-poll-shows-astounding-ignorance-on-texas-property-taxes/
That is an interesting article.
In California, they call it a "mill rate." I assume that means how many dollars in taxes per million dollars of value, but I am not sure of that.
So, if the mill rate is 1.20%, then the property tax would be 1.20% of the value (but that is different than Texas, due to Prop 13, which limited increases in property tax by associating the amount paid in tax with the amount of the purchase price -- this prevents the property tax from getting out of control, as the purchase price is used as the value, and not some arbitrary appraised amount).
I think in Texas, both the appraised/assessed value of the property and the mill rate can change at any time.
If I remember correctly, both the local county/city and the local school board in Texas can determine the total amount of the "mill rate," and they apply it to the appraised or assessed value (which can go up over time).
So, many places are at or in excess of 3% of the value of the property.
But ...
Do these local governments ALSO get money from the state, even if it is supposedly "earmarked" for other purposes? I would bet they do. And if they do, then since money is fungible, the state DOES affect how much the local government charges for property tax, even though the state does not DIRECTLY control the local property tax rate.
The big cities -- with the big, bloated, leftist governments -- have the highest property tax rates. They likley also get the most money from the state, which makes their property tax rates even more bloated that would otherwise appear.
If people in Texas want their property taxes to be lower, they must push the local city/county and school board to lower their mill rates. This means cutting back on school expenses (by pushing towards homeschooling and private schools), and also cutting the bloated bureaucracy (though, the bat shit crazy libtards will be pushing back on that).
Yes, but the big problem is the school boards. Even if you don't have kids, you are taxed by the school district. They jack up the property taxes the most. Since many parents pulled kids from public schools, enrollment is falling. Texas pays by numbers of students. So the school district should get less state money because fewer students. However, school districts are getting around this by using the trick discussed in this article. They're making up the difference by bleeding citizens dry through property taxes. They're laughing about it too as they give themselves raises.
If Texans want to lower their property taxes, they need to understand the real enemy is the school boards and town councils. Letting leftists have those places gives them total power over property taxes. They must be voted out if people want to stop the property tax hikes.
Which is exactly what has been happening. Texans are voting them out over CRT and mask mandates, but it also will save many on property taxes if true conservatives are brought in that don't jack up the taxes.
Beta thought he had an opportunity to present a speech in which everyone would clap at the end and hand over their "evil" guns to him immediately. However, he was informed that he is a sick son of a bitch.
In order to "keep" power, one must hold it to begin with. Leftists hold very little power in Texas.
