Biden claims his father discussed Gas Prices @ the kitchen table when he was a child. The price of gas was $0.27 throughout the 1950s when Biden was growing up. When is this faggot not lying? (www.energy.gov)

He's been lying throughout his life, so probably doesn't even realize that it's a lie.

He's so deranged now, but even from before his mental decline.

I think he believes it's the truth and just says it...knows that the fake, deceitful news media will never point it out or make him look bad.

He's been a POS pretty much all his life, why should it stop now, even if he needs a diaper and should be in a care facility?

I remember when .32 was an outrageous price.

Can confirm. I have paid .27 for gas.

You're so full of crap. When gas was $0.32 it was about 2:25 in today's dollars.

Read the attached chart. The rise gas prices through the 50s and 60s was INCREMENTAL. Nobody was complaining about the rising price of gas.

As an 82-year old who lived through the 50s and 60s, you are full of shit. Gas wars were a big deal and people were very sensitive to 1/10 cent change in pump prices. Rumors of oil companies squashing inventors who came up with new carburetors or alternate fuels were prevalent. As teenagers, we pooled our quarters so that we could ride around town all Saturday night. And people most certainly did bitch about the price of gas, and like senile Joe's dad, my father did complain about it at the kitchen table. Not apologizing for old Joe, but let's be honest here.

I was born early 50's and my dad worked for Sunoco until early 60's. He often talked about the "gas wars" you mentioned. Also back then they would service your car when you came in for gas. They pumped the gas, checked your oil, tires, and often washed the windshield. The lowest I paid for gas when I turned 16 (circa 1969) was truly around 25 cents a gallon, give or take a penny. Of course as a child I remember buying a two pack of twinkies for under a dime.

To be honest with you, I think most of us are shackled by our own perception of how things are. I'm constantly learning about how I misunderstood something or how I was never taught it to begin with.

Like food production. I wasn't aware that I could grow anything substantial on my property because of how small it is, but it ends up that I have more than enough space to feed my family and then some

We got too invested in making things easier on ourselves instead of learning how to take care of ourselves

Gas prices were so outta control that Joe had to take a job at the city pool. He only made enough money per week to fill his dad's tank 1.5 times but the kids who swam in the pool made the job worth doing for him, as there was nothing they liked more than rubbing his legs down poolside.

It was a summer job and of course being summer, that meant that the hair on Joe's legs had been turning blonde for a couple of months (since at least late spring) and would be almost fully blonde at this time. His leg hair would even stand on end when wet and if given a proper rubdown and up.

So it was that for much of that whole summer, all of the local youths were measuring each others coolness by how good they were at doing this, and how cool Joe said they were. His legs had become a commodity of cool.

He also learned about "roaches" while working there.

Not sure what you guys are paying in the US, but here in the UK, it's just over £7 a gallon. (Had to convert it from litres because we dont really do by the gallon here) I remember in 2001, drivers went on strike because it went over £3.80 a gallon. Muuh Russia!

He did, it probably went something like this "thank God gas is only .27 cents a gallon, i hope that in the future some dipshit doesnt come along and ruin it" cue Joe with shifty eyes awkwardly leaving the dinner table

Of all the stupid shit you could say he's lying about, you pick the one thing he's probably telling the truth about lol.

I challenge you to find a family that doesn't, in some way or another, care about the price of oil lol.

He's rich, of course they discussed it, they were probably invested in it.

I would be more apt to call him a liar if he said it never came up.

This is the most normal topic of conversation outside of weather I can think of.

It's literally small talk to bring up the price of gas, it has been since the invention of the model t.

Think about it for like 2 seconds, do you think people in 1950 didn't care when their prices fluctuated ±10% because gas is proportionally more expensive now?

That doesn't make sense. You get mad any time the price of a staple good goes up, gas included.

Also saying that credit card use is down and savings are up. Reverse that…. Someone writing his speech is taking advantage of Biden’s known lying.
