I see it as an entrepreneur move. Not good or bad IMO. Reflect on his Devolution theory progression to today:
He claimed he started researching on his own time while still employed full time. He put pieces together and wrote a thesis on his findings via Substack. (Mostly) Anons picked up on it and saw credibility when comparing the 1000s of hours of drops they had analyzed for years.
This gains popularity and now Patel is doing his late night Power Hour shows. He's gaining momentum at a rapid rate, researching endless hours, writing each thesis and doing his stream while maintaining a full time job and family life.
I don't know the specifics, but it appears the time he devoted to this newfound passion took a lot of time from his family and for whatever reason, he and his wife separate.
He still believes in his process and starts taking donations from his Substack and starts making some money. At first he tried to make a subscription service but he didn't like that some couldn't or wouldn't donate and he didn't want to alienate or withhold content from them so it all kinda dissolves and he continues on.
By now his following is considerable and he's doing interviews with X22 and We The Media embrace him with open arms. He eventually spoke at events and collaborated on organizing one with Patrick Gunnels.
Bottom line, this is much less a "grift" and now his full time job and he's doing a good job. To undertake such an endeavor needs more than community support. He's still got bills to pay. Love what you do? What you do is also very popular in a large albeit "underground" community and want to make awareness? Selling merch makes money and your supporters also become assistants in advertising and promoting your content!
My conclusion to those skeptical of Devolution and Patel's motive:
Up to about part 12 or 13 of the series, Devolution was one giant proof of PART of what Q had been mentioning in the drops. The topic has since taken a larger role and Patel is doing his best to keep up with demand and maybe the theory of Devolution is gotten too big for its own britches and that's okay! Patel isn't a one trick pony and continues to press on like a true Patriot. I'm proud of him and thankful he did the deep dive so I (we) can be as informed as much as possible!
FWIW, I recall him saying to Patrick Gunnels in an early Power Hour that his (soon to be ex) wife is very liberal and didn't agree with what he was getting up to. Grain of salt of course, because that is his side of the story and we don't know hers.
That's what I was about to say. Shut the fuck up with that 30 dollars shit. I own a media company myself and did custom screen prints with a business associate and sold mine for 20 bucks on the street and 25 online. Edit; we also printed mainly on hemp and not gildan or hanes style cotton. This is a BIG reason why I'm very careful with trusting people who divulge information. Doing shit like this is a sign of bad character and possibly devious intentions. The RNC controlled trump store apparatus did the same thing. IDC about the downvotes that come.
Come on, seriously?? First off, $30 is totally reasonable for a shirt. I haven't seen $20 shirts of decent quality since the 90's.
And selling merch is something most all big name patriots do, for several reasons.
If you don't have a merch store to direct people toward, some scammer will create one to take advantage of your followers
Followers often request hats and t-shirts
Everyone has to pay the rent, and if someone quit their day job to support the patriot movement full-time then there is nothing wrong with selling merch
Dude, fuck off. I know the cost. There are literally dozens of sites dedicated to cheap t shirts. Ever heard of$6 tees? Old-school tees? If you haven't seen a $20 shirt in a quarter of a century you're simply a moron.
As for your other points, we all know that already.
I completely agree. Dunno why someone downvoted this. For those who like to downvote, maybe add a sentence or two to explain your reasoning and contribute to the conversation.
I didn't down voat but I disagree with anon's take that it should be acceptable to make money off of the movement.
Money corrupts absolutely. I'd rather get my information from anons who are doing the heavy lifting for free than listen/watch some asshat ride anons coat tails offering up a subjective summarization.
I dont care who it is: X22, Patel Patriot, glowfag supreme AJ, or some other "famous" alt streamer... These people make a career out of the Q research phenomenon. Capitalizing and thus gaining "sects" of devotees (who will yes, buy shirts, books, donate, etc).
The only thing I would say these people do efficiently is keep us divided based on the varying and evolving opinions the research creates.
Q said to be careful who we follow and to identify/recognize paytriots.
Profiting off of the theory of devolution, while he has an absolute right to, does feel a bit off.
Off in like it is wrong or a sin or something? Maybe people thinking outside the box seem off to those who can't. The theory of devolution on a t-shirt is simply a discussion starter, what's off about that?
Right... I can't think outside the box. Nicely insinuating that I just can't grasp this delicate genius.
Making a shirt to make money isn't thinking outside the box it's quite literally in the box wrapped nice and neat. I don't have a problem there anyway.
The off part is this: if you sincerely believed in devolution. Down to your bones. And all that devolution entails. The seriousness of it. What it means for the country. Your first thought is to put it on a shirt? Or a baby bib at a 50% markup?
Your first thought is to put it on a shirt? Or a baby bib at a 50% markup?
I have no idea what this person's first thought is, I just see him capitalizing on an idea.................people willing to pay the cost are his market, it has nothing to do with how much. Suply and demand and competition will dictate pricing, are you thinking he should be governed on the price?
No he can charge what he wants. The initial post was about it feeling off somehow
So while I do think the price is high, I think selling merchandise kind of devalues the seriousness of devolution, or perhaps it just degrades my impression of the legitimacy of devolution as a possibility
But at this point, we're not really talking about the same thing.
Or is it just some entrepreneur? My feelings would be different if Patel Patriot isn't selling these and just gave a go ahead
No brand of shirt mentioned, meaning they are using China garbage that's about $2 or $3 wholesale. Approximately an additional $4-$5 a shirt to print. $8 shirt=$30 shirt
First thoughts -That's a ton of items to offer. If they are truly printing them on demand, that's a lot of manpower required which means they're paying people. That's why the merch is up in price.
However, it's unreal for the topic devolution to not invest in made in the USA merch.
And Kate awakening is majorly involved... How long until Slag is revealed?
I don't begrudge Patel Patriot and how he has funneled what was a side project into a viable career, but what is he going to do when all of this finally goes down (whether it is devolution or something else going on with the government)? I've watched a few of his Power Hours and he doesn't seem to want to shift from his single-minded devotion to the devolution theory.

That's true.
And again, the motive can be good, or even neutral.
However, it rubs me the wrong way. That's more my reaction than his intent.
I completely understand the initial reaction to this new promotion of his merch initially did illicit that response from me too.
FWIW, I recall him saying to Patrick Gunnels in an early Power Hour that his (soon to be ex) wife is very liberal and didn't agree with what he was getting up to. Grain of salt of course, because that is his side of the story and we don't know hers.
I make shirts... Made in America... $30 is obscene.
Selling on Etsy, which takes a cut of my sales, I was still able to offer made in America tees for 24.99{now 22.99}
That's what I was about to say. Shut the fuck up with that 30 dollars shit. I don’t know much about this stuff but isn’t it more expensive to make stuff in America? I do think the prices could be lower still
Yes it is. I spend $5-$6 a shirt wholesale for made in the USA. I could get a shirt made in China for about $2-$3
Bwahahah, people still talk about Majic Eyes? What a crock.
Discernment is important.
Do a search, plenty of people have come to the conclusion that Majic Eyes is goofy nonsense.
Majic Eyes 12...has made a ton of ludicrous claims, including promoting flat earth theory.

Doesn't make it look any better.

Seems like a capitalist to me?
Yes... And?
And what? Just answered the OP's question, "seems off". Someone capitalizing on a good idea is not off to me.
There's really no question it's capitalistic... That's not really the point.
Profiting off of the theory of devolution, while he has an absolute right to, does feel a bit off.

Creepy and expensive, yep. There seems to be nothing some people won't do to make a buck.
So who owns Spitballers?
Has Patel Patriot endorsed this?
Or is it just some entrepreneur? My feelings would be different if Patel Patriot isn't selling these and just gave a go ahead

It's beginning to look like PP has jumped the shark in the style of other once widely followed sources/streamers.
Should his name devolve to paytriot instead of patriot now?
It seems like it cheapens the whole thing at the very least.
