I have a US VPN and a US landline phone and am unable to join - without a cellular phone.
Is this an oversight on their part ot is it because they won't let you join unless they can track your movements?
Have tried to join several times and just hit a dead end.
That's weird, and annoying. But it does seem to be the thing nowadays. "Can't use VoIP numbers or landlines!"

It's limited to USA residents, A VPN got me so far and I got my email confirmed but the registration fails when I can't provide a USA phone number.
Google Voice works for providing a phone number.
The thing is, not always and it is easily detected and blocked, and many sites already do.
In order to set up a Facebook account for example with a Google number, you still have to set it up first with a cell number.
