I mean, it's not wrong. I became redpilled because of GamerGate. And I believe I'm far from being the only one. Should have let us play our games in peace, now there's crying and gnashing of teeth, and boy we're just getting started.
In all my years of gaming I only ever had one experience that was just plain nasty to deal with.
It was on the Wow forums and someone had made a lady gamer over 40 represent thread. The nastiness and vitriol we got for that thread was just absolutely sick. I never had any problems otherwise, I made friends in game and some of those friendships lasted outside the game.
Otherwise I never really had a problem because I was a woman nobody really bothered me. I think most of the time it becomes an issue when you make it an issue.
