Avoid this damn thing like the plague.
I won't have the choice to avoid this next year for the DL renewal..........and demanding licenses really is a violation of our right to travel, as is license plates for the cars, and begging for the right to own, carry and use any weapon of our choice.
I agree. The whole privilege thing when it comes to driving is bs
Why?
Virtually everyone already compromised via internet and phones making unofficial databases anyway, all this does is provide (looks like) the 'good guys' a level playing field in the realm of person verification and identification.
Thanks I didn't understand why we needed a "real ID". Surprising that cabal Illinois is late to the party. They keep getting extensions.
We have “real photo ID in Pennsylvania, works great, especially at airports! Nothing wrong with it unless you cannot provide correct paperwork to get one, then, you may be illegal.
We have them in Jersey as well.
However we also give drivers licenses to illegals so I have no idea how that works.
Unfortunately, it's not required for voting.
Nor in Illinois, I went to the primaries and there was a sign right on the check-in desk saying that ID is not required in Illinois.
Interestingly I could just barely see the screen the guy was looking at and when he was looking over the little form I had to fill out with my name, address, and what ballot I wanted and sign it I briefly saw an image of my signature from some other file (maybe driver's license) come up on the screen which he was apparently comparing with my signature on the form I had just handed him.
Same. I didn't have to do anything I wouldn't have done to get a DL to get it either
Had to make one change, the names have to exactly match on two documents, so we had a document that had just the middle initial, and another that had the complete middle name. Anyway it was easy to fix with a trip to the social security office.
LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
