I am desperate to find help. I have very bad neuropathy. Any suggestions. Being in a pool helps temporarily. Being in a hot bath helps temporarily. I need relief and this Gabapentin is dangerous I know. What can I do to help this?

Please investigate this as a possible cause. It is known that Vitamin B6 Toxicity is a known cause of Small Fiber Polyneuropathy. If you've been taking a high dose multivitamin or a B-Complex, and you experienced dehydration at some point, your body might have flipped the switch and stopped excreting B6 in your urine. At that point, B6 gets shoved into your nerve cells where they get stuck, and BOOM. Neuropathy. This happened to me (fully documented) and I am now recovering very nicely. https://understandingb6toxicity.com
CBD is some pretty amazing stuff, and so is DMSO.
While I have never used either, this recent thread has talked about how DMSO has helped with nerve damage - recommended for a read if people havent seen this one yet.

Yeah I got some last week and it made my old back injury stop being difficult.
Have been using DMSO for five years or so.
Its brilliant - I highly recommend it for all kinds of problems.
CBD when swallowed goes straight to the liver to be broken down = harsh on liver if taken long term or in high doses. If it is legal in your area, suggest making your own. heh heh heh.
My mother-in-law deals with neuropathy. She found eventually that the cause of the neuropathy was being prescribed Nexium for acid reflux and taking it for many years. A few years ago, I found this for her and she has since sworn by it. She says it's the only thing that really gives her relief.

Fortunately, I've hooked her up with a chiropractic neurologist and they are making progress on improving the neuropathy. I'll try to get further details on that and post them to you when I have them.
In the meantime, I hope you're not taking some prescription med that is creating the problem. I will send you prayers, fren.
I can offer helpful suggestions, because I have it too, but I need to know a bit more about your individual symptoms. Is the neuropathy traveling down your legs to your feet, as perhaps a result of sciatica? Do you have degenerative disc disease? Or, is it perhaps in your arms or hands?
Do not go on gabapentin! Side effects can be horrendous!
How long have you been experiencing it? Have you been told what may have caused it?
In my case, it has been progressive, over the span of the last three years. My L4/L5 and L5/S1 discs are gone, causing stenosis and sciatica...especially down my left leg. There are some things I do to lessen the severity of it, and if I skip a couple of days, it gets worse. My legs get weak and ache, and if it's really bad, I get pins and needles on the bottom of my feet, and numbness on the top of them. Among what I do are a simple traction exercise I've come up with, laying in a carpeted doorway, and another sciatica exercise, known as "flossing the nerve." These things may or may not be helpful to you.
The two most common causes of neuropathy are stenosis, either cervical or lumbar, and diabetes. There are other causes, of course, but these are the main ones.
I manage my pains mostly with 800mg of ibuprofen, divided twice a day, and if it gets beyond what the ibuprofen can manage, then amitriptyline 25mg at bedtime is really helpful for me. Some people it helps, others report no benefit. (At this dosage, it is very benign, with few mild side-effects.) I only do the amitriptyline for 2-3 days, then stop. The reason others may not experience any benefit from amitriptyline is because one can develop a tolerance for it if taken regularly. This is why on-again, off-again, is beneficial. Only use it when you need it. The reason it's helpful is it calms the nerves, allowing the overdriven pain impulses to subside. The way I discovered it is because it is prescribed for me for another reason: I have chronic migraine cause by a hyper-immune problem. Amitriptyline, and another, similar med, doxepin, help me moderate the immune problem when it starts snowballing.
Hope this helps.

You can grow it in your garden if you'd like.
Vitamin D helps mine.
Eat more animal products, eliminate inflammatory foods. 80-90% diet of fatty fish/meat/eggs to provide your body with essential building blocks to heal, from a bioavailable form. Synthetic supplemental vitamins/minerals etc are not bioavailable and there is no proof that they do anything.
Fat soluble vitamins A, B6, B12, D, F, K2 Amino acids creatine, carnitine, carnosine, taurine Heme-iron, CoQ10, Cholesterol, CLA
You didn't get like this overnight so you wont be fixed overnight. It's 100% about what you eat. 🙏

DMSO cures a lot of problems.
This is a long shot but what about magnesium oil?
Yes - helps with many problems.
Im not a doctor, but i know two diabetics that have more or less mitigated the majority of their neuropathy pain and other diabetic related ailments by simply drinking a shot of apple cider vinegar (with mother) daily.
Both are/were worse than average cases, mid 50s, and did not change their poor diet or other vices. After several weeks of starting the daily vinegar regiment and sticking to it, they began losing weight combined with lessened joint & neuropathy pain.
After 6 months both ppl looked, acted, and felt 10+ years younger with their diabetic symptoms stymied significantly. All signs pointed to the vinegar being responsible because neither of these people changed their very poor diets nor stopped drinking heavily.
Valerian tincture - smells like dirty sweat socks, but works. Do your homework first!
Have a "Revitive" machine for a couple of years now. Worthwhile.
I have sever neuropathy in my feet. CBD vitamin D & B help. When its sever I use lidocaine patches.
St. John’s wort oil from Rose Mountain Herbs
Lion’s Mane Mushroom from Stamets
Anamu
P5P B6. One of the B vitamins but it has to be this specific P5P. You can order online
Don't know much about these fren, but doing a search I found these things. Please keep posting this question at different times of day so as many people as possible can see it. That may help get it in front of people with first hand experience.

I've said a prayer for you, fren. I hope you find relief, immediately. I do believe God is still in the miracle business. Believe.
OP, most definitely I can appreciate your experience. The following is Not intended as medical advice. Check any related documentation available for your best usage. Use good common sense. Your mileage may vary. My experience is as a senior citizen of nearly 300 pounds in relatively good health.
I sincerely believe that my regular usage of NAC has helped with my neuropathy but that's just my own experience. I was able to find NAC at my health-food store. 600mg capsules. One in the morning and one before bed.
AND:
Magnesium - in caplet form - from Wally-World. 500 mg caplets (or capsules)
Cinnamon - capsules - anytime of the day or night. Again, from Wally-World. Again,
on the bottle and then make your own decisions. Probably depends on your body-mass. Betcha can also find this at your health-food store
Alpha-Lipolic acid - capsules - anytime of the day or night. Sorry to be (again) sending you to Walmart but hey, if that's the only place it's available?
PRAYERS going up for you; I have personal experience with neuropathy and I don't wish it onto anyone. GBY and your loved ones, dear u/AwakeJesusisComing21! He. IS. RISEN!
Magnesium is not well absorbed from the gut, topical applications of Magnesium oil are better. Make your own by dissolving Mg crystals - just keep off broken skin or it will sting.
