When I first heard of twitter, I don't know how many years ago, I thought, "How can it make money?" I still don't know if it even does, and now we know that even what they claim is bogus. Perhaps deep state was behind it all along? (and the ridiculous stock price was just a side benefit to them?)
Wasn't there a piece - I think it was maybe Sundance over at CTH - where he broke a lot down of how the numbers didn't make sense when you think about how the platform works and the sheer amount of computing power needed to update everything in real time? That it had to be something like the gov't behind it? Does anyone remember this?
It seems a lot of people think Facebook is backed by the same entities as Twitter. Maybe it has been China all along.
"Empty cities"?
I recall, but can provide no further details.

I hope all this gets revealed to the general public soon! Perhaps Musk really is working for the "white hats" :)
It doesn't, and never has. I'd guess at least 30% of the population runs ad-blockers today as well, maybe more. I used Twitter back in the day after Q/Flynn suggested we enter the meme wars there. Having run ad-blockers for at least a decade, I never saw a single ad and never had to add exceptions to my ad-block program, like is often required on many pay-for-platforms to see/read/use them.
This can only mean one thing; Twitter could care less about money and their advertisers.
It seems that the stock value is all based on hype. The famous Dutch tulip bulb story comes to mind.
Yep, there's nothing new under the sun...
I've thought the same with the rest of them too (an exception of youtube because of ad revenue potential, even though they still operated at a loss for something like a decade).
Facebook is the same question, and seeing the stock value soaring (up front) when, as best I could tell, the stock value should move comparable to an ad agency. Since that's the only apparent revenue.
Luckily, we've learned better and now know that it's because they soak up all information they can on everyone and package it and sell it to every bidder.
Same as Facebook and all the rest of the shit darpa made and gave away v
I doubt they gave it away, just put a face on it.
That wouldn't surprise me one bit. I worked in a co-working space in Cheyenne, WY and the guy I almost shared an office with was the one sole Wyoming employee of Twitter supposedly. I was like wow, almighty Twitter chose the $199 a month model or whatever instead of a $500 private office, lol.
Should have joined him just to mess with him...didn't really want him looking at my screen ever, though.
I'll leave this here! https://greatawakening.win/p/15IqsmfGjK/should-elon-buy-tiktok-next-can-/
What's the best way to keep tabs on your filthy citizens?
Have them willingly give up everything to the "cloud"
If Amazon is not profitable, keeps posting operating losses, its not a business; its a material warfare apparatus that results in the local supply chain being damaged.
As I focus on Amazon, something that's not a sound business should not be in business. I think Amazon is banking on drones doing the packing and delivering of packages in the future in the meantime dump infinity money into labor & cost.
Project deepdream?
