My day has been unlike many I have ever had in my life. I went to bed last night after covering a ground bee hole with dirt surrounded by large stones. When I woke up, a stone was overturned (bees did not do it, nor my kids and I doubt my cat did) no logical explanation. I got to work and things have just been crazy since. It just feels really off and all I can think of is the scary large Full Moon back on Wednesday and CERN. Anyone else having a rather odd day?

most of this week has felt extremely strange....i think the coming to Jesus meeting is going to be soon....it kind of feels like a eerie quiet right before all hell breaks loose...maybe the full moon or CERN but i think its more than that.....
My credit score was 847, freaked me out, I screan shot it for the memory.
Very strange for me also. Woke up feeling great !!!
Bad day today, emotionally. It's been kind of a suck ass week.
Hang in there...
I'm unusually tired today
Well maybe you shouldn't have trapped the ground bees to die like that. Karma.
Yellowjackets? Cup of gasoline, pour in hole, ignite, sucks all the O2 out and scorches the escapees. Done. 100% effective everytime all my life.
When you have two little kids and they are in the walking path in your backyard, you do what you have to for your children. If they were elsewhere I wouldn't have bothered them.
I laughed at that reply, I took it as kidding though no sarcasm noted. You do what you have to for your youngins.😊
I had that experience two days ago. Everything just felt off, and I had a series of weird events throughout the morning and early afternoon. Once I got home, I stayed home and avoided doing much just because I was kind of over it. I'm also dreaming a lot more than normal and very vividly.
Interesting about dreaming more than usual and very vivid dreams because this has been happening to me the last couple of days.
I usually never remember my dreams and this has been a little unnerving to me because they are so vivid.
All the damn day!!
Yes…. Last night and tonight. Weird ass day today too
Yeah this week has just been a cluster on my end. Nothing going right and just random things at work surprising me out of the blue, good and bad. Definitely been weird lately....
Why would you cover a ground bee hole?!
A raccoon or opossum moved the rock and ate the larvae.
People around me complaining of being tired all the time lately. Also, the birds are acting fkn weird. They are literally diving in front of cars like some kind of a death wish. And not just one kind of bird. ALL of the birds are doing this.
Weird you mention that, cause the last couple of days as I'm sitting in my car getting ready to go into work a bird (mockingbird I think?) has landed on the back of my car for a split second and flew off again.
I've never seen anything like it.
A weird week for me. Had a strange experience rhe night of full moon that Im unsure really happened or if it was a dream. My kid has been pushing it and it caused me to have a little break down. Definitely weird and emotional week
Hope you feel better. Read some Psalms, they always help me feel better.
I read the Bible too, always grounds me. Thank you for your kind words
Skunks will eat bees and they're nocturnal. One could have come in the middle of the night, moved the stone, and had a late dinner.
No but I have had some extremely vivid dreams i can no longer remember.
I've felt like this for a week....Soooo I preformed a white sage blessing yesterday and then sprinkled Holy water around all the windows and doors...the atmosphere in my home completely lifted....slept like a baby last night for the first time in a week.
My 9 year old granddaughter complained to me today she is having trouble sleeping, lots of bad dreams and is scared to sleep in her room.. I brought her home with me and tomorrow I'll cleanse her house... Evil will not win if we remove what it needs to enter our space. God wins!
Blessings frens...
Time has felt very slow to me. I feel like one day is the feeling of living in a week. Like I’m in a weird time warp.
Bees are in decline and the full moon is beautiful. Why be afraid?
Yellow jackets don’t pollinate
Children - otherwise I would t have bothered them.
Teach them respect for bees please.
There’s a huge difference between yellow jackets, wasps, and bees.
Yellow jackets live in the ground, they do not pollinate, they pretty much hang out just to sting you. Same with wasps
Bees on the other hand actually have a function, they pollinate plants, keep the echoystem going, and also make honey, which is an anti-microbial an antibacterial substance. If sealed in a jar, could actually last 1 million years.
Yellow jackets can be dangerous. A child that has never had a bee sting can die from stepping on a yellow jacket ground nest.
Thanks for saying that. I didn’t know that, but I know that they pack a punch.
The biggest problem is that the high level of venom can create an anaphylactic response that you won't know about until a second bee sting.
Thanks for sharing that I appreciate it. Sometimes people think that a toddler can decide not to step on a yellow jacket nest.
I disagree. Children run around enjoying themselves, chasing one another, and digging in the dirt. I think a small child could really be at risk if somebody didn’t deal with an issue such as this.
Great Job OP - for protecting your children!
Even if they are inefficient pollinators they still do it and they do have a purpose other than stinging you.
"Populations of yellow jackets (a yellow-bodied social wasp) build up in summer and are considered beneficial insects that pollinate flowers and prey on grubs and beetles."
Yeah and they also sting people. If you have small children that don’t know how to defend themselves, you need to get rid of the predators. Period.
Personally I’m not afraid of bees, they don’t bother me, and when they come around me I ask nicely for them to leave, and they do.
But if I had small children, and I found a yellow jacket nest in the ground in my yard, you bet I’d get rid of them. All the kids would have to do is step on that nest once, and they would come out attacking the children. Since they nest underground, that could easily happen.
I can’t imagine somebody doing anything different than that. Unless they didn’t hold their children valuable to them. And on this forum, I am sure that 100% of the people here would put their children first.
I'd say your imagination is severely limited. You can't imagine a parent who loves their child more than anything teaching them to not step on a yellowjacket hive or whatever species she was talking about. As that kind of a parent I find that annoying. I've said all I need to about this topic.
The person in question who has those children has mentioned numerous times that they’re not old enough to know better. They’re probably toddlers, maybe 2 to 3 years old. Kids that are running through the yard, digging in the dirt, and just playing, don’t understand the dangers of or understanding of yellow jacket nests in the ground. Grow up! That’s the whole idea right, that kids have a chance to grow up. Here’s something somebody else posted.

For the record yes children are more important than yellow jackets. You sound like a liberal.
I got lit up as a child running around in the woods. Not fun, I didn’t scope the place out before deciding to run.
I surely will when they are old enough to understand.
I think it's best to teach understanding by example from the beginning, bee sting allergies perhaps being an exception. Point out the hole and let them know to walk around it or they could get a painful sting.
I'll never forget when that kid at my birthday party who intentionally threw a pine cone at a wasp nest and they came out and stung the shit out of him! He cried but I laughed at his stupidity.
but bees are going extinct, you could have maybe caged it off or something.
That's another lie, I have every kind of bee around my house and I am barely out of the city.
I've had a lotta days in my life and this was one.
The people in the town centre looked as if they were acting out some kind of weird play or drama, as if they were under a glamour.
It was strange to say the least, it did remind me of some of Cartier Bresson's photographs where people are gathered together in a pattern only seen in the photograph.
I like it when the hummingbird tries to run off the bumblebee and the bumblebee turns around and kicks its ass.
Bees are our friends.. just sayin. Every day is an adventure. Look at it that way. But I know, some days you wish you could just hunker down in bed for safety. I tend to break things when I’m off.
I agree bees are our friends. I just can't have them where my small children roam. As for breaking things, I use to be that person. Try to find ways to funnel it to something less destructive. It's very hard but possible. Thanks for the reply.
I don’t intentionally break things, just clumsy sometimes.
Bees are tricky. If you still have issues, call a beekeeper. They’ll relocate them.
Skunks and opossums like to eat those bees.
I'm doing my usual practice of just eating rationing quantity food this week, but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary.
No point planning to live off 1500 calories daily for an emergency if you can't actually do it for real now and then without going crazy.
Yesterday, for sure. My dog let himself out through the screen door at the back of my house, squeezed through the gate outside, and walked to my grandma's house next door
It was odd because he's never been able to open the door by himself. Still not sure what happened. Then he went to the back door of her house, which is even more strange because he's never been through that door

The stone is on the move
Something weird at the place where I work. A metal sign post, 15' tall, appeared where there wasn't one before. The last time we put up any signposts was 2017, so unless I just missed it everyday for the last 5 years, something unusual occurred.
