I drink 2 to 3 cups of coffee every day and I haven’t had a cup of coffee in a couple of days and my headache wasn’t going away so I had a cup of caffeinated tea and my headache is gone I was having caffeine withdrawal on top of the flu. I think people don’t realize that when they’re sick they stop drinking coffee and that gives them a pounding headache

Caffeine headaches are indeed a bitch. Sharp stabbing migraines. Went thru it when I dropped daily soda ages ago. Like with any withdrawal it does subside in time tho.
Back to your comment - people not thinking about anything is part of alot of our problems. They just roll with whatever and never try to figure out the how, why, how to prevent in future, etc.
Random question but what did you drink instead of soda when you stopped? I stopped my daily sodas but still struggle to drink water and end up more dehydrated than anything haha.
Solei, or however you spell it, carbonated water. Lots of flavors, some good some not so good. Do drink a lot of it though. After figuring out why the headaches, caffeine withdrawl too
My go-to was carbonated water, with some Angostura bitters in it. Tastes vaguely like pink gin, and is bubbly.
high end German non alcohol beer
I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. But can we please return to the days when we just had a cold or flu? I need counseling for the anger I feel when I hear or read the words “I have covid. “
Meeee toooo it’s the flu I used to get it every other year and when I felt well I went back to work and the world kept on spinnin
Your title is literally "I've got covid"
covid 19 is a genetically fucked with virus - it is a tampered with flu and it does weird different shit from normal flu. do you not believe this came from a Wuhan lab performing genetic fuckery?
The caffeine headache is a result of the blood vessels in your head trying to return to normal size when you stop drinking coffee. Caffeine shrinks the blood vessels in your head and around the second day of no coffee you’ll get the worst headache of your life because the blood vessels are putting pressure on you as they try to return back to normal. Caffeine is not good for you as it results in constricting blood vessels i.e. oxygen flow to the brain. That’s why the headache goes away when you finally have that cup of coffee. They’re shrinking again.
DUCK is correct. Caffeine affects every person differently. In some people it constricts the blood vessels, in others it dilates them. Some people can't sleep after having caffeine, others can sleep just fine with no problem. Some people experience increased blood pressure from caffeine, others do not. In some people, caffeine counters fatigue, in others it doesn't help at all.
Just like with salt, caffeine can have different individual effects on people, and can sometimes be good and sometimes bad. It entirely depends on the individual and their genetics. Making broad generalizations is not a good idea.
When I get migraines, acetaminophen alone won't touch them, aspirin alone won't touch them, and caffeine alone won't touch them, but all 3 of those together (Excedrin Migraine Formula) will almost always get rid of it within a couple of hours. It's worth a shot to see if it works for you, OP.
Opiates do absolutely nothing for my pain. They don't even take the edge off it.
Try applying clove oil directly to your tooth for short term relief from the pain. Be VERY careful not to swallow any though if you can help it, the taste might kill you.
That's exactly how I quit coffee. Major headache and excedrin got me over the hump.
Red wine is a source of quercetin (as well as some heart healthy antioxidants). Could be that your body is craving it for those benefits.
Once you get pass that second day it gets better though. As long as you don’t drink coffee.
I like Excedrine for that reason. It has caffeine along with good old aspirin. Works when nothing else will. Take one Excedrine and take a 30 min. nap. Wake up and headache is gonzo.
One or both sides of your head? Temples, forehead, bridge of nose or elsewhere?
Temples a forehead
I would get them on the side of my head, but I think mine were related to neck muscles and my actual neck nerves / ligaments as well as my shoulder, from sleeping on a shitty pillow. They come around every so often but I can usually trace it back to something tangible.
Fren, you may want to look into getting some NAC. The vascular antioxidant effect may help you in large doses. I'm not a neurologist and a doctor but I recommend the stuff to people who have had COVID, are suffering from COVID, or are using it as part of their anti-COVID regimen. I get mine from purebulksuppleements.com

FOR SURE
Just a reminder that aspirin, the dissolvable kind, is a refreshing and healing drink when you have Covid + headache.
Th flu is not a virus..it is the body's immune system getting rid of toxins and gives symptoms we call the flu. You can't catch a virus they are not alive..can't exist outside the body. Bitchute why you can't catch a virus
