Even the great American snack popcorn has been intentionally ruined by globohomo:

Fyi...Dr. David Brownstein Iodine book, free download. Potassium Iodine supplements fixes all thyroid issues and book explains why: https://dk1lib.org/book/2619347/f06529
Excellent book! Have been using Iodoral for about 6 years.
We sure love Redmond salt from Utah. All the good stuff still in it. No iodine but I check mine every 6 mo to a yr.
Smells delicious…
Popcorn is as American as apple pie. The innovation of creating an extremely nutritious snack with only 4 ingredients of popcorn kernals, hot air, real butter, and real salt is quite extraordinary, imo.
I air-pop mine, melt ghee & pour it over the popcorn, salt with Celtic/Himalayan and grate romano cheese over it all. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
🤤
^^^^Glyphosate. This is the issue with the GMO corn. My air popper is metal in the area that contacts the kernals, but this is a good point. Not good to consume fumes or small particles of melted plastic. If one's microplastic exposure is high daily NAC for 6 weeks will boost glutothione production which will break it down and purge it from the body.
The water from the butter is removed when ghee is made--what I use. I do not care for soggy popcorn.
Ghee is so incredibly easy to make, smells sooo good, and tastes even better.
"Healthy" and "Real Butter"?
Animal sourced fat is the best: Lard, tallow, butter, ghee, duck fat. Seed oils are pro inflammatory and contain no B vitamins. The only non animal sourced oils that are good are olive oil and avocado oil. A lot of junk science came from the Ancel Keys 7 countries study.
Yup! Folks who still think real butter and lard are evil, have a very long way to go on the quest for nutritional truth.
ok there's my answer
Is Coconut oil any good?
It is not so bad from what I understand. It consist of mostly saturated fatty acids(around 80%), the main one being lauric acid (c12), which is known to possess antiviral, antibacterial, and antiprotozoal qualities. It is converted to the monoglyceride monolaurin in the human body. Monolaurin is antiviral, antibacterial, and antiprotozoal. Reports indicate that monolaurin is capable of destroying lipid-coated viruses such as HIV, herpes, cytomegalovirus, influenza, various pathological bacteria, including Listeria monocytogenes and H. pylori, and protozoa such as Giardia lamblia. However, It does not contain any significant amount of EFA (Essential Fatty Acids), the omega-3 and 6, so you do not want to use it as your only source of dietary fat.
I can confirm avacado oil single source with research i did. Will hunt down research paper and post it. For olive oil I believe it is certain single-source, high quality types only. Apparently lots of crap getting mixed in.
Yes. Real butter is healthy. MSM and BigMed have created false narrative and fearporn on butter. My personal experience is all of my health issues disappeared once I swapped seed oil for butter in all cooking (over 12 months).
The only issue not being discussed is that of Insulin resistance. If you are of normal weight and aren't putting carbs into your mouth 12 hours/day, ignore this comment. Nothing wrong with popcorn and the comments here are right on with regards to seed oil, butter, etc. But popcorn is pure carbs. But if you are overweight, you need to make sure you are going without anything being eaten or drank (exception of water, black coffee or tea) for at least 12 hours/day, 15 or 18 is better. The pancreas secretes insulin when you eat carbs or protein. The presence of insulin restricts the ability of the body to access fat stores to burn, which means that you retain fat on your body. So while cooking popcorn using air and adding butter (or not) is the healthiest way to prepare it, consuming carbs with fat ensures you are storing fat on your body unless you are working out constantly. If you have normal eating habits, no problem. If you are always snacking from morning to bedtime and are overweight, the above description is the problem.
is olive oil considered a seed oil?
Pork fat. That is all.
Yum!
Easy 3 minute popcorn. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XCF8WPR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm waiting for this answer too.
This is unclear to me. I removed all olive oil from my diet and use avocado oil exclusively in the rare circumstances that I need oil (such as making my own organic mayo or dressings or blackening my tuna steak). I have not dug into the research on olive oil yet because my avocado oil research indicated that it is better than olive oil nutritionally.
I would not say bad. I would say less good compared to avocado oil from what I know at this point. Spectrum good to bad looks approximately like this: avocado>coconut>olive>sunflower>cottonseed>soybean
