I had a pastor tell me one time Adam and Eve were actually vegetarians until the fall. He said there was no death until then so they didn’t kill any animals to eat until they were sent out. I thought that was interesting.
Clif High mentioned this. Said if cooked hot enough to kill parasites it will destroy the protein. So, they will not be cooked hot enough to kill parasites, and the parasites aren’t typical ones you would be tested for once you’re sick.
yes, i fell for that too. i've actually grown mealiworms for 3 years now and my chickies go crazy for them but it's a lot of work keeping them reproducing.
And in all that time i have never been tempted to eat one myself ;)
I grew up near the border of Mexico and stuff like this is pretty normal for a "snack". It's never supposed to be the primary meal source. Also Mexicans will put chili powder on anything lol (and it will still be good)

Debated in some circles that the locusts mentioned could be the bean pods from a type of locust tree native to that region. Also known as a carob tree
