When the vax started shipping under Trump, we heard lots of talk about how it had to be shipped and stored at -76 to -130F.
I only heard about this un the first month or two.
Is is still shipped and stored like that? Doesn't seem like it. I would think we would be seeing freezer trucks all the time on the road considering what a big operation that is.
Did they it wasn't important after all? If so, who decided, and why didn’t we ever hear anything.
Are they shipping a different potion under Biden than other Trump?
To me, it makes little difference as its all poison whether if it's from mix 1 or 2 and if it's shipped properly or not.
Does anyone know the answer to this question?
It was said Pfizer and Moderna, the mRNA shots, were unstable if not ultra cold. At least until lack of ultra-cold storage prevented sales and distribution:
https://khn.org/morning-breakout/ultra-cold-storage-of-pfizer-vaccine-no-longer-required-by-fda/
You found the answer. Thank you!
That article, and the policy change happened in 2021. Where were all the cryo shipping trucks, and igloo parking lot vaxx dispensaries throughout 2020?
Secondly, why would anyone trust the FDA to provide safe, and accurate vaxx guidelines when the stupid bastards didn't even know the proper fucking temperature to keep the vaxx stored in for a whole year after it was released!?
To your first point, the EUA approvals were given by FDA in December 2020 so there were only a couple months where the ultra-cold was required before the change in February 2021. No idea how many doses were actually manufactured and shipped during the ultra-cold window those few months. Lack of ability to ship and store is probably what led to the request to ease/change the temp requirement.
To your second point, you had me at “why would anyone trust the FDA?”
It was a lie.
Go figure.
So for some random information I used to maintain a bio-containment lab and all of the labs and rooms had a -80C freezer. This was and is the only safe location to store samples. When I first saw this for the vaccines all I could think about is these labs did this to KEEP SOMETHING ALIVE. Food for thought on actual ingredients.
I belive they just wanted to slow down the roll out....
That makes a great deal of sense. They wanted the roll out to be months or years later but their plan got warped by something.
The vax spoils quickly above freezing. They figured that's a good thing.
Didn't somebody low a bunch of vax to just spoil? Heroic.
The question ought to be, what happens if it isn't kept cold? "Spoiled" doesn't tell us if it gets more or less dangerous.
I wondered about this too.
I thought only one had to be kept cold. We heard of a batch that spoiled due to refrigeration loss, 22 mil doses. We asked where they went? Last I heard on that.
Iirc it was the Pfizer or Moderna one that needed to be kept so cold. They were supposedly providing small freezers to end use points to facilitate this
https://www.wsj.com/articles/vaccine-transport-leans-on-tight-network-of-refrigerated-truck-operators-11607987480
From my memory it was the AstraZenica one that had to be kept super cold, but other sites report it seems to be both Pfizer and Moderna that supposedly had to be kept refrigerated. Maybe they all did to some extent.
All the while by the way, when other shipping and transport was really badly impacted by lack of staff, shutdowns and the rest of the inanity around the china virus.
I figure cold trucks give the companies a bit of an out, an excuse as to why their vax might be deadly, because then they can blame poor transport, or temps that were allowed to get too warm as to why their patients drop dead on the floor after the shot.
It was to keep the parasites from proliferating. So I guess they st6opped worrying about it.
It doesn't matter what they are shipping as long as it is deadly.
