I think MA is still in jail, not sure, but he's listed as a former attorney so I imagine he's been disbarred.

If you're referring to the "... I'll leave it in your capable hands..." that's a colloquialism I've used many times in the past to colleagues and vice-versa. It's used in a light-hearted and respectful manner, usually to denote you have to get to a meeting or elsewhere (or to sleep as I used it about six hours ago) and can't continue a conversation. We don't have visual clues when writing (nor audible ones) to see the smile that always goes along with that statement. No offense was intended.

I’m referring to the Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart who granted the search warrant. He’s not even a real Federal Judge.
