Heard on radio Bxden is pulling from reserves for lower prices till October-ish. Which makes since midterms and all. Get your heating oil now folks if you haven't.
They may be pulling reserves, but fuel smells different, burns different and a full tank is 45 to 50 miles short on mileage from what I used to get with premium. My guess is their "blend" has changed so we are burning less efficient fuel for a higher cost which means returning to the pump sooner. My truck calculates a tank vs. Mpg within the first half mile or so and seems to check out with the difference. For what ever that observation is worth anyway.
biden was talking a while back about increasing the ethanol content of blended gas from 10% to 15% to supposedly make it cheaper. (outside of the cornbelt, it wont)
Might have to switch to unbblended gas myself. My truck's a 98.
It isn't my driving habits that have changed, just the fuel blend in a small conservative town of NorCal. I'm going to pick up fuel in Nevada and see how it changes. I have a feeling it will go back to normal. Before anyone hates on me for North California, be advised most everyone here wants and believes in The State of Jefferson. We'd love to part ways with the Central and Southern part of this shithole State.
Wanted to pass this on to everyone here...my car does the same thing as your truck...What I have done is bought Lucas Gas Treatment (Lowes, Home Depot) and "Mechanic in a Bottle" and mix 50/50...shake well...
When filling up put that bottle in last so that is starts being mixed with the gas...your gas mileage will improve AND your engine will love you for it...I have about 21,000 miles on the car w/turbo...they checked the engine and it is just like it was new!!!!!
might try it on my truck, thought it was a clogged air filter( been working a cabinet place for three months now. Sawdust every fucking where). I was thinking switching to unblended gas. thanks.
Trump has been playing Joseph when it comes to preparing for this. Think about it. No ships co.ing in from China yet we still ahve well stocked shelves.
I can't confirm this, but an Anon had posted a long article saying since 2018 with a couple EOs taking effect, pretty much all goods (talking about hard goods and cars etc) coming in had stopped and everything on shelves since then has been domestic or from the warehouse.
I still find it hard to believe, and at the same time, it makes perfect sense. But this means the first 2 years under him had been furiously prepping.
People have their reasons why gas is down a bit currently...mine is what his press secretary said this past spring. They are increasing the ethanol in gasoline to make it cheaper. Basically watering down your gasoline, even more. It’s not supposed to be over 10%. They are raising it to 15%. Cars don’t run on water. And no one can guarantee your not getting 20% currently(mechanic friend told me this). It’s being notice with “flex fuel” cars having injector problems. Water is always the enemy to fuel systems. And seeing what I’m seeing and hearing, you better be getting some SeaFoam, water remover products into your gas tank. Or just buy non ethanol like me. It’s over $1 higher per gallon. But it’ll save your motor.
for those who don't know, ethanol is hygroscopic. basically it means it can literally absorb water from the air (probably a bit more complicated than that, but that's the gist)
Biden admin demanded gas companies lower their prices by august 15. When that was fulfilled, it only will explode when thosr same companies need to get their money back. Low prices today will crush ppl this winter. All for votes
Of course it will. SHTF before November.
"we need federally controlled mail in ballots for every voter, because gas is too expensive for anyone to drive to the polls"

My gas doesn't short me on mileage and I waTch it closely.
Maybe you driving to hard

Filled up in Nevada and got that extra mileage back. It's definitely the fuel in certain states.

You use both and mix them 50 50??
YES...USE THE LUCAS BOTTLE--->fill until 1/2 full or use the bottom portion to mix both...that is what I do!!!

I agree it is ethanol, which has about 85% of the joules gasoline has. Far less efficient.
Probably when China will invade Taiwan as well
Aye
They can't keep draining the reserves forever.
Bingo. I am sure Trump filled the reserve just exactly based on this timing, and Biden has been draining it at the rate told to him by the WHs

Yup. A few months ago some of us here were saying it might go to $12 by December :-|
😵

When the Strategic Petroleum Reserves are empty then prices will rise again.

Since pedohitler went so badly, they now decided you have to pay even more.
They already have. Dropped to 3.30 a gallon and back to 3.60 a gallon already in a few days.
I bet it happens on 11/8/22, along with the stock market crash!
leftist faggots always stand out when they type. Try again troon
People only change when it hurts enough, means enough, isn't worth it anymore, or something better is on the table. Usually a combo of all four.
