Veteran NY judge named as arbiter in Trump Mar-a-Lago probe
WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Thursday appointed a veteran New York jurist to serve as an independent arbiter and review records seized during an FBI search of former President Donald Trump's Florida home last month.
And he was one of the FISA judges that the FBI & DOJ LIED to. Kek
Dearie's son: Although in Seattle, he doesn't appear to be part of the swamp link at the bottom:
Ray Dearie is the principal lawyer in the Dearie Law Group in Seattle. Born and raised in New York City, Ray found his way out West during and after college where he worked in some of our Nation’s glorious national parks, including Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska, Mount Rainier National Park, Death Valley National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. Through his westerly journeys, Ray received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Montana in 1997 (Law Review). Following law school, Ray clerked for Chief Judge Fred Scullin in United States District Court (New York). Following his clerkship, Ray moved to Seattle.
After moving to Seattle, Ray worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Ray was named Prosecutor of the Year in 2002-2003. After leaving the Prosecutor’s Office, Ray began private practice as an insurance defense attorney. Gradually, Ray transitioned his practice away from defending corporations and insurance companies to representing plaintiffs.
In 2008, Ray founded the Dearie Law Group, where he represents injured persons in a variety of different personal injury claims. Ray was selected as a Super Lawyer from 2009 to the present. Ray has tried numerous cases in both State and Federal Court, including an $8,000,000 jury verdict in a sexual abuse case in Whatcom County (Feb. 2016) and another sexual abuse jury verdict in Pierce County ($1.27 Million -- CMJ v. Kleinfelder). Ray has also settled several recent cases in excess of $1,000,000, including Brewster v. Doe, et al., (1.0 Million -- Dram Shop), Jacobson v. Doe, (2.5 Million --Slip/Fall/Premises Liability), and Newman v. King County (largest multi-million dollar settlement against King County Metro in its history ($7,000,000). Recently, Ray was hired as co-counsel in Harris v. King County Sheriff’s Office, which resulted in a $10,000,000 settlement during the third week of trial in Pierce County Superior Court (January 2011).

I wonder if he has any affiliations, loose or concrete, to John Morgan from FL. If he does, then he's a swamp rat.
I don't see the dirtiest words in law firms: Perkins Coie - who's headquarters is in Seattle. At least there's that.
Just as a point of interest, Perkins Coie have been the corporate lawyers for The Boeing Company for decades.
They've done a few cases together, but that's the only connection I see.
Reagan appointee: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_J._Dearie
The selection of Raymond Dearie, a former federal prosecutor who for years served as the chief judge of the federal court based in Brooklyn, came after both the Justice Department and Trump’s lawyers made clear that they would be satisfied with his appointment as a so-called special master.
Automatically concerning that the DoJ would be satisfied with the same thing Trump would be, but hey.
"Satisfied" is Legal speak for the DOJ had no grounds to object to Dearie so they were forced to accept him.
Legal speak uses English words but those words do NOT mean the same thing as they do in normal speak English.
That's why people call it legalese. Not only is it using words that don't mean the same to us, they also use a dead language.
Possibly a good point, though I'm not sure legalese was the case in this specific point.
We all can hope though! Tired of this charade that the government is putting up.
Well, i guess we will soon see if this judge was complicit and knowingly participated in the FISA bullshit or was really lied to.
