We went back several times. A total of 6 moon landings were successful. Apollo 13 was unsuccessful. Going to the moon is EXPENSIVE; around 2.5% of the GDP over a 10-year period. We know what is there. It is a hunk of rock. So they stopped going.

2. The video of it was too perfect, how did a camera mounted to document the first steps survive the flight there? Or how was it tucked away?

Everything was planned in meticulous detail. Every second counted. They knew landing on the moon would be historic. To that end, there was a camera attached to a side of the LEM. Read up on it.

3. Everyone involved would certainly want to keep it hushed. Telling the truth now would be an embarrassment.

There is no air in space or on the moon. When inflated so that the astronaut can breathe, the suit becomes quite rigid.

Yes, everything was "staged". It had to be. It was planned in meticulous detail, including having cameras to record as much as they could. This included the ability to recover film.

There is no atmosphere in space or on the moon. There is nothing to diffuse the sunlight. Yes, it's going to be very bright.

Firmly believe moon landing was real. Will be extremely disappointed if we find out that the trillions of dollars stolen from the American people was not used to establish the 1st space colony on the Dark Side of the Moon.

IMO, it's real. I'll try to answer some of your questions from my own knowledge. (I'm a power supply designer who has been R&D'ing propulsion systems on the side.)1. The answer has more to do with why we went. It was a JFK-inspired battle to be first with Russia. We didn't put the first satellite up, we didn't put the first man in space, but we beat Russia to the moon. The public was all behind it. Until we won. Then, the public interest declined. It was a huge financial endeavor and we were in Vietnam and had civil strife. NASA decided to go in a different direction and developed the 'reusable' space shuttle which never lived up to its financial promise, costing a $billion a flight. We had plans to build space stations to help build rockets in space. Finances and elections every 4 yrs makes that difficult. There was no profit margin. Just science advancement. A lot of it. But hard to justify the cost. 5. To be honest, the suits have many layers and at lower than atmospheric pressure to make them more maneuverable. They had a lot of experience in high altitude aircraft pressure suit design to lean on. I have vhs tapes from all the moon landings and what a difference in the quality in the last missions. I've listened to the autobiography audio book from Michael Collins, who describes in detail the whole mission experience. He was part of the first landing. These were the best military pilots we had. 8. The lights in a vacuum don't get picked up by any atmosphere (there is none) and shine brightly on the object they strike. 4.
