Zelle is a payment service through most banks. Square to take credit cards. Bill pay through your bank to make payments. A credit card through your bank that you can transfer payment to the card so you don’t carry a balance. Also, you can set up FB messenger to send or receive money.
I seldom use PayPal or Venmo and I never use a debit card as an online payment.
Something about Zelle has my Spidey Sense on full alert. I am not even sure why, but all of the questions it asked when I was setting it up.... Globohomo....
I probably won't be able to ditch Square for everything, but the businesses I'm using paypal merchant services for are all moving to Stripe or Waveapps.
PayPal basically changed their acceptable use policy to where they can fine you 2500 if you say something they disagree with. They've gone back on it now but many have cancelled their account.
Like it or hate it, its so easy to create a crypto wallet on your phone and use it to transfer small amounts of XRP between friends with hardly any fees. I don't know why anyone would want to use crap like venmo.
Bra: have you tried closing a PayPal with an “open credit account”? There’s no how to. I spent over an hour trying to close it and it ran me around a circle.
Click on payments and it should show a list. There’s a way to cancel any automated payments. It took me a bit to figure it out. Once I cancelled those recurring auto payments, I was able to close my account.
I think eBay owns PayPal, so get rid of that too.
Ebay divested PayPal a few years ago.
Venmo=Venom
Does anyone have any recommendations for viable alternatives to look into?

I'm not super familiar with it honestly, but we're using it for invoicing and ach/card processing for one of our subsidiaries
Gab is running some gabpay thing. I’m not in the US but that might be useful for those who are.
Ootl?

Wow, they deserve what they have sown.
Done and done.

Make sure everyone gets them some. They wanted it this way.

Just stop using it.
shoot are there any other online payment services i use venmo to pay rent and insurance
Banks usually have free bill pay. They literally mail a check for you. I use it anytime I have to pay a bill, even one offs.
I pay my dad lol probably should have mentioned that.
Cash App?
It's run by Square (aka @jack) but at least it isn't paypal
Soon to be @ElonMusk
I've done that through bill pay. I guess that depends on if your dad wants to go to the bank all the time to deposit them haha
You can deposit checks by taking a picture through an app for many banks
Hadn't had my coffee when I wrote that. Lol
That's the only way I deposit checks. 😂
I don't have checks and we only do cash if we are exchanging money.
Never used Venmo.
Any good replacement out there?
