I'm 61. So I have had my own fair share of brainwashing thrown at me. I'm running very low on empathy. They have been my brainwashed son's biggest advocate, despite knowing where we stand. That is where I draw the line. If they want to be retarded, the can feel free to knock theirselves out, but when you dick with MY (hence, NOT theirs), kids...that's where my empathy ends and resentment and anger begin.
I have not once forced my POV or worldviews on them. However, they feel compelled to push theirs on my entire family. So, nope, no empathy, zero, all out. They made their bed, now they can rest in it for eternity. May the Lord help me to forgive them someday.
This is true. And the more deeply-ingrained are the pre-existing beliefs, the more painful is the withdrawal. When personal identity is bound together with leftist ideology, there's no painless path to reality.
Maintaining a worldview that conflicts with information your subconscious knows to be true (you cannot lie to your subconscious) causes mental friction. It makes a buzzing sound.

For me, I think this is why I’m red pilled for 22 years now. My default assumption is and always has been: I don’t know the truth. That goes for Q stuff for me too, I’m simply not privy to the information to determine what is or isn’t truth. The only truth is what personal I experience.
