Bingo. Majority of people think a sheriff is just another law enforcement but they are far from it. A GOOD Sheriff has the unique ability to work outside standard law enforcement; they have the power to tell local, state, and Federal to go fuck themselves. They are elected, not appointed, by the counties/regions of those that elected them. As such, their first duty is TO those people and the US Constituion in equal measure. Local, state, and Federal only use it as a speed bump if it benefits them and we've seen this countless times.

From their perspective it makes sense.... if it works and their candidates are able to cheat themselves in again, great. No accountability. If the red wave catches PA, then they can complain after the fact about illegal voting mechanisms. Deep state win-win.

I don't this lawless shit will be tolerated this time around and I think the SOS is going to be in for a HUGE surprise along with counties that decided they will go against the SCOTUS ruling. Pennsylvania might be the state where very public arrests will be made and the SOS will be among the first.

How do we hold out government responsible? We petition the legislature to redress our grievances.

Agreed. A sheriff can deputize his entire county and lawfully deploy them to defend the county.

These same laws and such existed in 2020. The Dems didn't follow them.
They won't obey them again.
