Under siege - but we opened the magnetic doors and showed the glowies in.
RD is a low-brow rag written at a 3rd grade comprehension level. No one takes them seriously outside of nursing homes.
Lol!!! You're right. 🤣 my mom sent me a subscription a couple years ago and I asked her to cancel it. She did, and then she resubscribed me this year 🙃
My mom (God bless her memory) did the same. I didn't object because her heart was in the right place....but it also got me onto more mailing lists for things I had NO interest in and many years later I still get them... Vermont General Store, Atlantic Monthly, Smithsonian....to name a few.
SO THATS WHY I GET THE VERMONT GENERAL STORE MAGAZINE
Most likely.
Email them and also, cancel.
There is a good diversity of clubs in the picture with a hockey stick, a crutch and even black and white hued baseball bats.
Diversity is our strength.
I used to read their crap while I'd be taking a crap. Glad I stopped.
During the cold war all the Soviets had to do to see which countries the US was interested in was to read the Readers Digest.
Free kindling.
I'll save it for the first fire in the fireplace this season 🤣
"The Great Ruse"
What a crock of BS! Is there anything that’s not compd? My blessed granny use to subscribe to that rag decades ago but it wasn’t full of horse hockey like this crap back then… or was it?
That’s what I’m wondering LOL. I used to read it every month when I was a kid in the 60s/70s
Readers Digest? Jesus, most people just lob burning bags of shit. Your enemies really hate you.
Oh brother! Couldn’t they come up with anything more clever than a take on “Law and Order”? I used to love Reader’s Digest. My parents subscribed and I would read every issue cover to cover when I was a kid. Sad even they are pushing propaganda garbage.

I'm surprised they used a big word like "Siege". The average reader of this is at about a 3-4th grade reading and comprehension level.
Yes, the excerpts from the book they are featuring are literally 3rd grade level reading material
I used to read it in 3rd grade right after reading HighLights Magazine.
