I taught a college graduate course in the late '90s, comprised of a mix of undergraduates and young graduate students, and by then, students largely didn't know how to do actual research in a library! I can't even imagine how far downhill academia has slided (or should it be slid?; not an English major :) ) since then.
My favorite is when people say "I don't have time to care about politics...." meanwhile, it is literally that very mentality that got us in this shitshow. Oh, and when sharing the truth with someone, they retort to Google to fact-check you. "Snopes says that's false." Gullibilty is the disease.
My best friend of more than 50 years says that to me, all while being bombarded by CNN and the like. It is so sad that so many good people have been virtually destroyed, at least intellectually, and often in the process, spiritually, by MSM.
Because they have been completely and thoroughly immersed in the programming!
A big part of the cabal's psyop is based on not only deeply embedding the false narrative, but short-circuiting the ability to logically question that narrative. Add in the emotional manipulation and you have a potent, effective prison of the mind.
It's easy to denigrate those trapped in the lies and certainly some deserve our censure. But many are VICTIMS!
Why some of us have the ability to discern and question even in the face of a full-court propaganda programming onslaught, I have no idea. However, it is a gift! Our most difficult calling - and responsibility - will be to deal with these victims using sympathy, empathy, and compassion.
It'll be hard. (And I include myself in that.) But we are warriors of goodness and light. We can rise above and do better. Even when we don't want to.

What is scary is that the people I thought were intelligent revealed to me that they do not know anything about the real world and how it works.
My perspective on people with real life experiences that are able to discern real dangers and restrictions of freedoms are intelligent.
