Herbs You Need for the "End of the World" or Crisis Situation
Upvoted for the chocolate quiz.
Does anyone know a good book that chronicles the timeline of covid well? Id like to find one with dates and references so when my kids are older they can read about what actually happened. I’ll be writing s free off my own notes as well.
Video of Ozzy's "War Pigs" with images to the lyrics generated by AI. This is fascinating and terrifying at the same time.

Recently found a new Kpop group I'm really loving, Le Sserafim. Their first two EPs are amazingly consistent. Its nice, considering Taylor Swift has gone down the drain (in multiple ways) and my favorite band Coheed and Cambria put out an album at the beginning of the year, so i was looking for new music to enjoy.
Highly recommend, if thats your thing.
Oh yeah, my husband and i have gone to quite afew of her shows! Red era was honestly an amazing tour, she can be an absolutely brilliant performer. She was a gifted artist, legitimately. Its really very sad that she's become so lost and misguided.
That sounds like absolutely amazing memories ♥ seriously amazing. I value that sincerity and authenticity in music as well.
i can't say that im super familiar with Miranda Lamberts back catalog, but i REALLY loved Pistol Annie's first album! I thought it was near perfect from top to bottom.
I don’t even know what k-pop is🤦🏻♀️ I don’t like most female singers. My top female artist are Miranda Lambert (country), Grace Potter (rock), Elle King (don’t know genre) & Kasey Musgraves (country).
I can relate to generally not preferring female singers, for sure. For some reason, kpop hits differently for me. I really love how the messages are conveyed so purely, i don't even actually need to know the language to know whats being said. It can be incredibly emotional. My true personal favorite is a solo artist, some of her music is so evocative that i end up pouring tears. It really is amazing and beautiful, the power of music.
If you have any interest, no pressure of course. This is a duet she did with a male artist, i thought it may land abit more to your tastes https://youtu.be/4vv8XQVAv-0
I relate to that on a spiritual level! There's something so PURE about being on a long drive and listening to a new album from start to finish, really getting to focus on what you're listening to. I like listening to music at home, but its different, it isnt focused, I'm probably doing something while listening. And yeah, i think it takes an incredibly special song to be a "love" on first listen.
Exactly! I’m usually grabbed by the artist voice before the lyrics get my attention.
FYI: anything in a link after the ? is your location. I saw someone post here in more detail about this months ago. Most of the social media sites do this.
Thanks fren that’s good to know. I’m always learning on here.
Ironically, i don't really listen to the boy groups lol different strokes for different folks though! I really appreciate how sonically different eastern pop is compared to current western offerings, feels alot fresher.
Emphaty good forced emphaty not.Do think alot of "organisation's" use forced emphaty to let us feel bad. What do you think ?
Are you referring to charities as organizations?
You can't force empathy, either you have it, or you don't.You can teach it and model it, raising a child to be kind, for instance, by asking them how they would feel if someone did that to them, etc. I think the word sympathy is better, wanting to gain sympathy for a cause, a condition, etc. Of course I have sympathy for all the people suffering hunger and homelessness, I have sympathy for an addict who cannot get well, I honestly do feel sorry for them. Empathy is being able to relate, sympathy means you may not relate, but you feel bad, like, "oh that's a shame." Empathy requires something intuitive, like realizing someone is tired without them telling you they are, and then having the emotional intelligence to not add to their burden, or simply lending a hand and offering help. Watching a woman in labor and knowing how that feels. Doing to others as you would have them do to you is the beginning of empathy. Have you ever met someone who has none? It's chilling. As far as manipulating a narrative to get a certain response of sympathy from someone, that is done a lot, to get people to donate, say, for hurricane relief, shelter animals, etc.. the downside of that is pity, because pity changes the power dynamic, which makes people in bad situations wallow in it, instead of giving them strength to endure and have victory over their condition. If I lost my home in a storm, I don't need your pity, I need encouragement to live to fight another day. Some people have a natural generosity of spirit, some do not. I don't think you can force that.
Sympathy is indeed a better word.Pitty is a slippery slope. Thanks i am learning. You got me thinking.
I am not even sure what a forced empathy is, but it sounds like where you are supposed to feel bad for something someone experienced even though you dont really feel bad. If thats the case, its not empathy, its just a charade.
Being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes is very powerful. It can even make you go insane if you cannot do it in moderation. However, if you can do it in moderation, it will help you become a better person.
Trying to say(english not my first language).Example some people getting asylum and really need it but the argumuntations used for that person are used for "every one" .
Blanket guilt. They make you feel bad for being born there in order for you to accept others to come in and eventually take it over.
Blanked quilt could express what i was trying to say. "They make you feel bad for being born there in order for you to accept others to come in and eventually take it over." cant relate to that. But they are trying to destroy country's with emigrants that dont want to learn norms and values of the country the flee to. Mean each case has to be judged ,something like the greencard system.(not with democrats in control). Difficult subject.
Just saw this on PDW, the hottest gift of the Christmas season...the Pepe Lamp.

That is a great gift, great mother.
Remember when people put a blue light bulb on their house or in their windows to show support for the police?
I wonder if there are green bulbs....
I think green was for the military. Seems like that was going on when the 1st gulf war started. Yellow is used to keep bugs away.
I was thinking green light ms for Pepe ;)
reminder: Tom Macdonald is a genius. here is a great song with a music video that tells a story. before all of his face tats

Before (about 2020-2021), they were saying free Palestine. Right now, they are saying stop antisemetism? Whats happening?
Israel and Palestines are Cabal constructs. They create a powerbase and then they put a thorn on their side to control the power base. Israel - powerbase. Palestine - thorn on the side. Right now they are losing control over everything. Hence the death of the narratives.

I don’t know what they are called. It’s in a lot of trail mix & those plastic candy canes filled with chocolate at stores during Christmas. I rarely buy m&m because of the dyes. It pisses me off these food companies make a healthier version sold in Europe but sell the American’s the junk. I’ve stopped buying my favorite chocolates because of the soy. I usually make my own sweets at home with better ingredients.
My answers are the same as yours, especially number 2!!! Give me dark any day!
I used to hate dark chocolate. Now I love it. My favorite is Lindt dark chocolate with sea salt. I rarely buy chocolate candy anymore because of the soy. I believe I’m allergic to soy. (At least the bad kind manufacturers use in food) I can drink milk with cacao powder without sugar. I prefer cacao instead of cocoa. It’s the raw unprocessed form of cocoa.
Why didn't that go in order grrr
Wrong question. Correct question is "Whats the minimum chocolate percentage before you are willing to put into your body ?"
Thank you to this community for giving me the gift of laughter. Even when it briefly makes me forget about loneliness in this war we’re all in.
