And how many dems are panicking as the country crumbles and voting repub? I just spent 5 days in upstate NY with a family that is 3 generations in one town. Lifelong dems, going back to the 82 year old grandfather. EVERY single one voted straight repub this year and most people they know did the same. They are terrified of what the dem party has become. These are not MAGA people they are just middle of the road moderates.

Likely, they're real people. It's no secret there was a HUGE enthusiasm gap. Democrats were so unpopular they often chose not even to campaign. If you're a standard low-info, low-interest voter, you care a lot more about what's on Netflix or where the weed is than who's running for State legislature or what Proposition [number] is. Right?
But, there are extensive registry campaigns. Historically, Dems have done massive voter registration drives especially during presidential election years. Most states have motor voter laws that automatically register people when they get or renew their driver's license, etc. This means we have mass voter registries. Our disinterested voters are certainly registered, even if they don't give a crap and wouldn't vote. They may even be registered in multiple locations if they've moved and the county clerks do a poor job of cleaning those registries.
Again, the people are real.
Dems know that these people are real and that they likely won't show up to vote. They know where they are because they have overwhelming access to the local election machinery. So, they take this massive pool of potential votes which almost certainly won't turn out, break them down by demographics so they can target the ones they're likely not to show, and then post completely valid mail-in ballots in their name knowing that no one will ever check because the names are legit.
Getting caught looks like Michigan. People showed up to vote and were told they had already voted absentee. They're allowed to fill out provisional ballots, but that doesn't matter. Either they don't count the provisionals at all if the race isn't close enough, or if they do, the provisional only zeroes out the fake ballot already cast in their name. There's very little disincentive to do this.
I'm not sure why this is odd? Every lib woman I know hasn't stopped talking nonstop about the murder rule being flipped to the right way.
But math wise, 1770% of 50 votes is only like 900 votes. It's not saying that there were 1700 percent more people voting than existed.
50 votes is a made up number. 3X as many youths voted? Early black vote is 18X higher? Early woman vote at 7X higher? This is crazy.
No way did the early vote at 100's of % higher levels.
I don't know, I'm not really surprised. Women, youth, and blacks were pissed about Roe. I have no doubt they were out there voting like crazy. Every time I drove past a voting place I saw lines of kids and blacks.
If you saw them at the polls then they didn't vote early by mail-in, did they?

I was surprised at how many young people were out voting at my place. I bet if we look at Trumps numbers, he had a LOT more statistics like this. Young people love him.
I don't know about that, let's be realistic. I have a really conservative family, but everyone under 25 in the family hates Trump with a passion. I work in supply chain and about once a month I have to meet with universities and I typically will walk around the campus and look at posters and stuff and it's all anti-Trump stuff.
I once said to a kid who was putting up a pro-abortion poster, you see tons of anti-trump stuff, but no pro-Biden stuff. He said everyone hates Biden and most of the dems are horrible, but they vote for them because of abortion rights.

Maybe you are right, it just seems extremes. And this comes on the heels of the 2020 cheatery. Right now, we just don't trust anything.
I totally get it, and I suspect cheating happened 100%, but kids were out voting in the highest numbers ever and if you went to a polling place you'd have seen that.

What possibly could have spurred these three groups into greater voting amounts this time? Now let's see, one data point is in 2018, one data point is in 2022, almost like it implies something big happened between those numbers. Now, I can't remember any really big news stories happening before 2018, so it's probably not that.
But, if say, for example, speaking purely hypothetically, if there had been some global event that radically altered the plans of every high-schooler in the nation, causing them to see their education (and expected/projected futures) just fall apart in real time? That might cause some big movements. And it's a good thing no unarmed Black people were executed in the streets (or their own bed) by the State without a trial, judge, or jury, for crimes that do not incur the death penalty, causing mass levels of political action and organization, or then these numbers would make sense. And we should above all other things be thankful that a life-long right for women wasn't weakened and put into national jeopardy during the summer right before a midterm election. Things might get really spicy if that were the case.

Nothing is going to happen about it. Till we take Contorl of the voting system to secure it. They are getting what they deserve. The whole country is in the same bucket. They are getting what they deserve. When the people rise up and take control of their lives. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.
Kid literally never vote, so the fact they had such a high turnout is telling.
This is why they don't clean up the voter registries. Think about which groups are likely to be incorrectly registered:
In 3 out of 4 of those groups, we see major Dem constituencies, all of which were elevated in early voting. Ballot harvesters were casting votes for ostensibly real and valid voters who did not reside in those precincts and were unlikely to show up to vote for real. In Michigan, they were catching it because it was done so aggressively. People showed up to vote and were told they had already voted.
When we talk about fraud, there's physical fraud and electronic fraud. This type of thing is the baseline physical fraud that swings races 5-10% - and it can be cleaned up with basic election security. Clean the voter registries.
