I understand your reasoning but that's not what Free Speech is about. For this one, I believe Elon is an hypocrite for supporting Free Speech while still banning people for free speech.
They have been trolling and not contributing to the discussion, which is why they got banned. They're just here to spread FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) and mocking us.
That's different from free speech and I'm sure if they say one bad thing on here that's non-related to the discussion but then contribute to the discussion many times soon after, they can stay but offense after offense, that will call for a permaban.

I've never understood the hype with Alex Jones. He seems a few brain cells short of a double digit IQ level. And seems to have gotten worse with time.
