It means that one is the action of doing something without the authority being given to them by God. For example, an individual or a group slaughters others, then says God willed them to do it, when that was NOT the case. Telling others they need to get vaccinated because God wills it, another more current example.
As I’ve said already, there is only one God. Why would I care of a pretend false god was being damned? They don’t exist. Only the one true living God exist. Therefore, that is the one being mentioned. Unless there is a false god you prefer to worship, idolize, and damn it’s name? And then you would be shown to have been a fool.
