I saw several videos from different perspectives, and he had his hands in the back, as if he was handcuffed(he wasn't), from the moment he approached the crowd (some 800yards) during the speeches of the Indian leaders , his entire speech, until he went back, all of the time. Nobody acts like this, unless its a msg.
Just as the US we have gotten the wrong idea of the natives being "Indians" since the times of the discovery of the continent, as the discoverers believed they were seeing India.
And calling them "indians" persisted ever since, but yeah, it means Native Brazilians.
I suspect there is some etymology with ”indígeno” in Spanish (indigenous in English)… In Latin Spanish I believe they also say “los indios”. Kinda like how “malaria” comes from the Spanish “mal aire” (bad air) which was the explanation the Conquistadores came up with when their compatriots were falling ill in the New World.
Yeah, I suspected that but had to check since India and Brazil are very close and it would really be something if India's leaders came there to cheer on Bolsanaro!
It's a cultural thing, like in the US they call the native Leaders "Chief"(european title) instead of using the correct Native titles. In Brazil we do not use "Chief" but "Cacique" wich comes from natives tongues. (there are lots of native languages)
Nope he does not walk like this. The ppl came to see him at the Palacio da Alvorada, where he resides. there is a huge area around the building that is off limits. He walked all the way to meet them.

Native indians, the original inhabitants.
Yes, a previous protest video of where they took out gang leaders had natives doing their dances in the streets.
Amazon Indians.
Native, many from the amazon.
We here in Brazil call our Native people Indios, as do the tribes themselves.

I don't think so. It looks unnatural and uncomfortable.

I suppose the army has told him: ''this is a job for the army, Mr. President, just relax''

In other cultures it is a sign of subservience.

There calendar dating is different than ours. Actually ours, America, is different than everyone else’s. Most of the world lists days/month/year.
So this was December 9th.
nope, it was Dec. 9th. Only the US uses this date format (12/9), the rest of the World writes 9th of Dec.(9/12)
