It isn't that young people are dumb, it's more like they're too comfortable with their lives and think nothing bad happens outside their disney mindsets.

That's why I struggle with allowing them to vote at 18 in 2022. It was a completely different mindset in 1940 where 18 year olds were trudging through hellish swamps trying to take out japanese.
