I'd just looked into Pythias as the wife of Aristotle, looking for a connection as to why those knights would name themselves after her. (Perhaps they didn't and it was the other P of D&P). Apparently, while on Lesbos, Pythias collected tissue samples and is described as being a biologist and embryologist. That seems to mesh with all this transhumanism.
