"The year has shown clearly that the system, put in place in the “new Russia” in the 1990’s in the interests of the global elite, has taken root. There are many in positions of authority here who like it that way: those among the governmental officials and politicians, business “elite,” cultural “elite,” scientific “elite,” academia, etc. Some of them may believe that the global elite cannot fail and has it under control, and so they’d better stick with the “proposed” script. Probably, all of them are scared of any changes.
Theirs is a world where governmental officials approve or reject state funding for projects depending on how much they can steal in the process of their implementation. Where financial regulators are concerned more with profits of bankers and speculators than with the state of national economy. Where “recommendations” of foreign organizations, such as the WTO, IMF, WHO, etc., are followed to a tee. Where people are proud that they keep money in foreign banks, buy property in foreign countries, and send kids to foreign schools; are certain that Russia is only good for them as a place to line their pockets; and believe that it’s possible for them to negotiate things back to the way they were, even if it means unconditional surrender. And where lies abound.
However, because of various developments and circumstances, much is getting exposed. And people are paying more attention to it, and more are starting to do something about it.
Theirs is a world where many live paycheck to paycheck, but they donate millions to help pay for treatment of sick children or send truckloads of humanitarian aid to Donbas. Where millions take to the streets on Victory Day, carrying old photos of their parents and grandparents who fought in WWII (The Great Patriotic War), “tore the guts out of the filthy Nazis,” and took Berlin in 1945. Where grandmothers knit socks, and kids make presents, for soldiers and officers in the trenches, who lay down their lives for their friends. Where truth and justice and common good (as in, “ask what you can do for your country”) are more than mere philosophical concepts. And where people are proud of Russia’s past, are certain that She can overcome any adversity and troubles in the present, and believe that She will have a most glorious future.
These two worlds cannot co-exist much longer. They are clashing more and more with each other, the war in Ukraine acting as a catalyst. The irony is that the global elite, whose approval the “elites” in Russia seek, serving it faithfully, is contributing the most to the disintegration of those domestic “elites’” world.
And so be it.
Happy New Year!"
Sounds just like the United States and our political class.
Sounds like socialism in general ... socialism = crony capitalism at the top.
Michael Savage brilliantly called it "Trickle Down Poverty". Can't say I was his biggest fan, but the man nailed each and every single problem we face today nearly 20 years ago at a time I was defending scum like Bush and the like that were implementing this shit using back door techniques (something their favorite son Barry seems to love).
I'd love to see the great awakening start in Russia ... those people have been fucked continuously for centuries. When I say people, I mean the people ... not the leaders or their elites ... just the people. It would be so fucking fitting for the world to see someone like Putin, a man that has been crucified by the media incessantly for years now, kick off the exposure of the DS and why he was constantly bashing and antagonizing the west. I know Trump has been tortured the same way, but Russians have been fucking living through this shit since the Soviet Union was founded.
To be clear, I do not trust Putin at all ... the fucking KGB played a big role accelerating the creation of Clown World back in the 1960s ... Putin was part of that. In fact, I think Putin may be fighting these scumbags for that reason ... to basically cover his ass for things he may have done during the Cold War.
However, in this battle against the degenerates, I think he's on our side. Putin is out for Russia first (as it should be) the same way we are MAGA. However, I think he sees that this degeneracy will basically end the world as we know it (basically meaning Russia as we know it would be a memory) ... I think he might be doing this for reasons bigger than "Mother Russia" while still looking out for Russia first. I may very well be wrong, but anyone standing up to these fuckers deserves a second look.
People can change, you know.
The KGB experience, which was in East Germany, may have colored his opinion on the things that were not done correctly. He was not a high up agent, but someone who had to follow orders, in a climate that came down hard on dissenters - this can cause people to develop, but hide, resentment.
He is also a WEF graduate, but seems to be working against them, so he may have attended that forum to figure out what they were up to.
Yea, some folks actually concerned about the planets future, our children.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Thank you for posting this!
Had no idea how much things in Russia are like the US.
Because of reading I've done over the years, I've known that corruption was an issue in Russia and Italy, but now we see it's perhaps even more prevalent in the US, and certainly exists in pretty much every country.
''Corruption'' is an issue everywhere.
It's everywhere. In Australia, the big infrastructure road projects get built while rest of the roads are in a massive state of disrepair. The billion dollar projects are easier to skim from than a small crew filling pot holes. 1% of 1 billion dollars is 10 million. Multi-billion dollar project with money going all over the place, it's easy to see that some of it may end up in the "wrong" places.
I know right? The first time I had that mirror experience was in 1972, when I saw a TIME magazine cover that portrayed some Russians. My comment was: but they look like us! (My family looks Slav to some, even though we are Friesian) My dad went on to explain that Russians were very smart and technologically savvy, but he was a red-under-the-bed type, proudly, due to some American education in the 50s, so he also explained that they were to be feared for that reason. I could never understand that part.
I hated the Cold War.
WOW. Like looking in a mirror.
They want to divide us by politics.
Russians good. Americans good.
Russian Federation, Incorporated bad. United States of America, Incorporated bad.
Sometimes it is necessary to overthrow a government.
We the People of the World
God bless!
I guess it's pretty much the same story in every country.
I came in to say that this is perhaps my most favorite statue in the world. It’s glorious.
Where is it? I have never seen it before. Just became my favorite!
The statue is called The Motherland Calls, sorry about the Wiki link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Motherland_Calls
Thanks!

Thanks!
Incredible
My geography is a little foggy, but when did Russia become a part of Europe?
I have always thought it was part of Asia...
Wow just wow
Mirrored WW.
From this angle, those eyes make her look like she hasn't slept for four days.
The price of liberty is eternal vigilance...
Cool statue.
Holy Cow that is massive! Look at the size of those people! Wow!
The lady stands at 170 feet.
Sounds a lot like Russia 30 or 40 years ago.
Do you think this may have something to do with all the Russian billionaires and military leaders that have been dying?
