Sounds like a dangerous game of chicken. The so-called far right holdouts will go from heroes to zeroes if Jeffries or someone like Liz Cheney gets elected to Speaker. It’s understandable that some Members don’t want McCarthy, what isn’t understandiable is they have no credible plan to win the Speakership. My bet is enough holdouts flinch and vote McCarthy in.

Edit: it takes 218 votes to be elected Speaker. One Republican would have to vote with all the Democrats to end up with Jeffries. But, we can’t rule out a RINO breaking ranks or some kind of back door deal between RINOS and Dems.

I truly see no difference between a Democrat Uniparty Speaker (Jeffries) or a Republican Uniparty Speaker (McCarthy). It is honestly irrelevant to me which one of them gets it. Neither one of them represents us. Either way, we lose.

So hold the line. The only way forward is with a speaker who will serve the agenda of American patriots. That is going to require faith and courage. And a willingness to go right to the edge.

Unless a Republican votes for a democrat or doesn’t vote, then a democrat can’t win. It’s the majority of votes cast.

I see this as McCarthy's plan to scare more Republicans to support him.

Relax. Jeffries will not get Speaker of The House since no Republican will vote for him. He will never get the number of votes (218) needed to win.

It would take several GOP crossovers for the Demtards to elect a speaker, they don't have the numbers. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this backfires on MAGA. We just don't have the numbers against the RINOS (yet).

McCarthy as speaker leaves him holding the bag when all hell breaks loose.
