Tonight's vote will go like this:
A few Dems will vacate due to "unforeseen circumstances". The vote threshold will decrease and a couple of holdouts will flip. McCarthy will become Speaker in the dead of night.

it very well could be, this has gone on for two months in the past. Even it it is not 10 days, they are being blinded. Additionally, what is happening right now that we cannot see that is transpiring. This is definitely a distraction from some action, regardless of how you look at it, it is a move of strategy for something unseen.

If the military is in a situation in which the 3 branches of government have been corrupted, and the 2020 election was altered by foreign governments, they wouldn’t have to share stuff anyway. Not giving anyone access that doesn’t need it would be built into the cake already.
That’s the point of autonomy being shifted to combat commanders via national emergency/cog/devolution. They close the loop completely.
It’s interesting, but it seems unlikely. This would mean that withholding important operational data would be contingent on all these different congressmen behaving correctly to kick off the situation in the first place.

What about the Senate? They all can get their briefings. While the gang of 8 does consist of the chair/ranking members of the respective intelligence committees, it also includes house speaker and minority leader along with senate majority/minority leaders. McCarthy is still technically the minority leader as the Constitution doesn't sunset that role. So he most likely still gets his briefings. Pelosi does not. Because she was speaker and that constitutionally ended.
