I feel you fren. Family of 6 to feed every night is getting harder to do. Not to mention pet foods. Meals got a lot smaller that's for sure. But we will make it guys and gals. Pray for justice daily and hang in there We are almost at the Precipice so when it comes hang on to the ledge and Hold The Line! ❤️ 🙏

I feel you. It's the same everywhere. I don't know how the average person or family is surviving this kind of rape. And the mainstream media has the audacity to run stories saying that Biden is easing the burdens on families.

I know how you feel. We were barely squeaking by, but stocking up here and there when we could. Now we are having to soon start in on the stock.

Same here. We had some really good years financially under Trump. My husband was making enough money that I could stay at home and work on the house and the farm without any worries. I'm going back to work next week because the skyrocketing costs of EVERYTHING are eating away at our money and it's getting to be too much. It shouldn't be this way, but it's by design. You'll own nothing, you'll beg for your food and water and government paycheck, and you'll be happy.

If the TV says that Biden is doing great while the price of food continues to rise, then the normies believe that Biden is doing great and don't notice or care about the cost of food.

"Normies" are collecting government checks and spending double the money to get the food delivered via Door Dash in between masturbation sessions.

Same as yall! Fucking sucking wind some weeks bc thats what I can afford to eat - wind. My husband finally makes per year what he thought we'd be 'set' with 5 yrs ago. Now feels like nothing. What I make all goes to food. Oh and gas. Can't forget that double rape!

It’s awful. I feel really bad for the average American who lives paycheck to paycheck trying to support a family. I know what I’ve seen in terms of price increases and while it isn’t going to hurt my wallet much, it’s still ridiculous. I remember when a full grocery cart was 200 bucks.

Yea we've been struggling since covid, started my own paint business, and was going well, now im lucky if i get calls. Im painting and working a part time job. No one can REALLY afford painting services even doing cheap labor. Its fucking sickening. Eventually I'm jusg going to have to smash and grab like a Californian.

Man, I’m sorry to hear that. My ex used to own a decorative painting company and a friend of mine owns one in FL - he’s busy AF. Hope things get better.

Piece of advice - go do some marketing. Door flyers, ads in community and HOA papers/newsletters. Online marketing via social media.

Yes, seriously F' all this.

Ha! I used to get charged 5 cents for each plastic bag in the cobalt blue suburb I lived in. I moved red. Now they use two bags to wrap a ham. They gave the paper bags away. I once showed the kid at the checkout how to get a paper bag ready by snapping it open. Old skills!

Hopefully we don't experience a major world-wide food supply crisis in 2023. That's what the WEF and the E.U. seems to want.

If that happens, $200 in groceries will fit in your pants pocket.

people need to get creative and look for deals or coupons in store papers. rotate food stores.

i do a lot of my shopping now at Aldi and the dollar store. Since the 25-50c raise they have really improved inventory.

This exactly. It also depends on the region you are in. Some people don't have 10 grocery stores to pick from in their area.

Must suck if you live in North east region. But then again, most of those states are liberal and screw you in taxes as well.

I just paid my credit card bill for the month.

Groceries plus gas and tolls to work = $2,500/mo. Single male, no family, no pleasure spending.

Living quarters just jumped $500 at the beginning of the year.

I feel bad for families.

This is bullshit.

Fishing trick....Like holding a caught fish far out in front. Little cart to make groceries seems more. /s All of this would fit on the kid seat of a regular cart I'll bet.

Sure, costs are up, but overall food is still dirt cheap if you're smart about what you buy. Rice is 43 cents a pound (25 pound bag at Sams). Last week Kroger had bacon for $3.49 a pound so that $200 will feed you for over two months at over 2,000 calories a day. Kroger also had boneless chicken $1.99 a pound.

Subsistence farming is a lousy return on investment. The below blog details the cost of raising a 4.7 pound meat chicken at $13.70. I just paid $1.99 a pound at Kroger for boneless, skinless chicken, so 4.7*1.99 = $9.53. I don't know about you, but I have no desire to be a farmer and certainly am not going to pay more for the privilege of adding additional daily chores and work.

https://fromscratchfarmstead.com/cost-of-raising-chickens-for-meat-on-a-small-scale/

That said, egg prices are truly insane, but you know what, I use at most 3-4 eggs a week, so again I'm not sure it's worth it.

Economies of scale are real. But you can get a dozen eggs per day with a decent flock during the summer. You can basically live on eggs.

I highly recommend canned staples like rice, beans, and wheat as they are still super inexpensive. Subsistence farming is an iffy, and labor intensive, proposition. Even the best farmer ever is hooped if the weather doesn't cooperate, but canned dry staples like that in the basement will last the rest of your life easily if you keep it cool and dry.
