I learned long ago that with Trump everything he says has double meaning. One would just need to look a little deeper than the surface.
A quick online search brings up many hits talking about the Spanish Flu epidemic, which is what one would think Trump is referring to. However, they all talk about the 1918 epidemic, not 1917. 1). It forced the vaccine card to be played while they were still experimental and could not be forced on people
2). It ended the lockdowns and subsequent economic collapse
