If you have a problem with the pledge than you should be banned from office
Banned from America altogether. I support that people who do not pledge allegiance to this Country and all she stands for should be stripped of their rights to be here. There are plenty of foreigners outside the border trying to enter legally who would give anything to have these rights. They get it.

House Republicans should vote on another procedural rule.
ANYONE who kneels in protest of the Pledge of Allegiance, turns their back on the flag during the pledge, talks or in other ways shows disrespect to the ceremony... will be escorted OUT of the Federal Building for the day.... and will not be allowed to cast any votes that day by proxy. :>)
And stripped of their citizenship, and booted out of this Country.

They keep talking about the Constitution, but what about the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights? Is that all included?
Also, the Pledge says "Republic", not Democracy.
Bill of Rights ARE first 10 amendments to the Constitution.
You should know by now that they don't give a flying f*ck about any part of the Constitution that doesn't suit their narrative, and as for democracy, you're right that this isn't one, but that's what they want to make it.
They want to abolish federalism (the opposite of state's rights--all rules go through Washington and all states fall in line), and then essentially go the way of China--a Marxist-Leninist socialist system where dissent is forbidden, the government sustains and controls you from cradle to grave, and you can "vote" for whoever you want, as long as they're a Party member so it's technically a "democracy".

Never thought I would take Nadler's side over anyone especially Gaetz---It would of been redundant--the House does the pledge each time the assembly opens up--why do it again 10 minutes later-same people-same building--When I was in school we did the pledge once daily--no one complained that it wasn't enough
The Democrats have no allegiance to America.
We have to stop calling the left liberals. There is nothing liberal about any of their positions. Modern day conservatism is trying to conserve old world liberalism. Owning a gun and speaking your mind are very liberal ideas. The left has taken the position of liberal and conservatives have done themselves no favor by going along with the mantra.
Those rat bastards would be hopping to their feet with a quickness if it was the Ukrainian pledge of allegiance.

Adults with government jobs doing the pledge makes sense but as far as the other debate, about having it in schools, I've always thought it was a weird thing to force children to do. Forcing kids across the country to, in unison, pledge allegiance to anything is just beyond creepy to me.
