I've heard of wild horses, and burros in the west, but I've never heard of wild cattle except in Australia. They protect the horses and burros even though it is known they destroy the evironment so why shoot the cattle?
But of course you would need to get rid of any source of food if you had plans to starve the people to death.
I lived in New Mexico for much of my life, and hunted a lot of the state. I've never seen one in my life. A lot of the state lands I hunted have cattle on them, but they belong to ranchers that have the grazing leases on the land. I never hunted the Gila Wilderness so maybe they do have some there, but I don't see the need to kill them and leave the meat laying to rot.
Open season on feral hogs around here it’s been my main hunting/food supply for years but they are hard to track down around here lots of swamp and forest to hide in.
I have a hard time missing them around my parts. Big black hogs running across the roads at night and if you connect, there goes your front end. 150 lbs of hog meat in the road makes a big dent at 45 mph. They wreak havoc on the golf courses and groves; they're quite destructive.
Mrna, injections,. This is why. They need to contaminate all beef breeds. VAIDS, the main food supply is beef. You need to make it so beef can never be recovered with free wild beef (clean dna) that was never genetically modified. The goal is to force people into eating bugs and fake meat. Control, control, control.
"The feral cattle in the Gila Wilderness have been aggressive towards wilderness visitors, graze year-round, and trample stream banks and springs, causing erosion and sedimentation," - Who are they to say that the cows God created shouldn’t graze year-round and walk on stream banks? Cows are gonna cow. They shouldn’t be shot for doing what comes natural. WTF!!
Then the real question should be, why will the feds start to do this now, rather than before?
Can't hunt and eat what isn't there.
Wild cattle?

I've heard of them in south Texas, but I agree,no point in shooting them.
The feral cattle problem is real. They should be helicopter machine gunning the feral horses too though.
Don't forget the hogs. They are much worse of a problem.

Wonder if they're gonna shoot the "wild" cattle at my neighbor's beef farm

I kind of wonder how those cattle might taste compared to store-bought.
Just put some balloons on them.
Kek Kek! $400,000 burgers!
We should round up and claim them!
Feral not wild
It was in the headline. I would have used your preferred pronoun.
kek

What gets me is the fact that they could use this meat to feed the poor. However, we all know this will not be the case.
☘️John Dutton is going to be pissed! “Rip! Get me the f*cking chopper!”
Those are ChyNeez spy bovines. F-22 and air to ground missiles -- now there's a BAR-BQ.
