Imagine it, your quiet little town has one of the worst environmental disasters in U.S. history, your livestock are dead or dying, you don't even know if it's safe to still live in your home anymore, and you sure as hell won't get what you paid for it if you sell it, the government all but ignores you, other than a handful of soundbites, and one of the richest, most famous people in the world shows up with clean water and safe food and says "I'm here to help."
Suddenly your situation doesn't feel so bleak, maybe you can push through this after all.

I agree. I've heard some conservative radio hosts brushing off the Trump visit as ill-chosen campaigning. Petty-ante stuff. "What?" I thought, driving along. "Extending an actual helping hand and supportive spirit is somehow 'wrong'? Wow, the anti-Trump hackles are strong with that one."
And all this talk about how other candidates might be more electable. No conception of what war we are in and what is needed.
You don't get to be a conservative radio host or be on TV unless you're taken the deal that goes along with your golden ticket. They're ALL on a leash, that's just how it works. The only place you'll find free speech is on podcasts, and even then you have to use your judgement to pick and choose those who are free from those who are muzzled.
