I'm sitting in my home in the San Bernardino Mountains staring at over 5 feet of snow on my deck. The entire Mountain is shut down. If you weren't prepared with food to ride out the back to back storms you are screwed. Thankfully we have months of food so we're good. Not going to lie, last night the electric was out. No heat for over 12 hours. That was rough but I'm still here so it's all good. Who knew the Babylon Bee would be prophetic?
Seriously! I live in Phoenix and have for almost 30 years. This is the coldest, longest winter I have ever experienced. It has been Cloudy, windy, cold and rainy since early November with only a few nice, warm sunny days. Many many mornings of waking up to frost and even having to scrape windshields. Flagstaff, 2 hrs north at 7000 ft elevation has had more snow than I have ever seen. I just got another winter storm warning from Coconino county. I ran a VRBO for 10 yrs in PHX and ppl come from all over the world to enjoy our nice winters. It's usually 75 in Feb/March but today it's 60, dreary and is going to rain again. This is the effect of a grand solar minimum.
I really hate having to shovel all this warming.

We had at our ski lodge 16" of global warming so far today, with round 2 starting this afternoon. Lot's of avalanches. We getu 1-2ft, warms a bit then icy overnight. The next snow falls on ice..
