This is how they are going to reach a lot of normies. There are some normies that instantly went from liking Musk to hating him because he flipped the script. Decades of brainwashing isn't so easily undone by waving a flag at a rally. It takes a lot of self reflection and soul searching to realize what is really happening with the world.
If Elon says he’s MAGA then the people who were Dem voters, that are now questioning things, will knee-jerk dismiss whatever he says.
He’s gradually awakening these people, one step at a time, and he’s doing it masterfully… that’s why he was placed into this position.
I’ve read that his brain implant chip thing is actually a countermove to bring attention to, and destroy, the actual brain chip agenda from the Deep State/WEF.

Alot of people that want to make America great again have no interest in being in a club or anything that sells merch. To them, America was great when you didn't have to perform politics to your neighbors. And you didn't care what their political persuasion was as long as they voted. And were left alone. So there's a lot of overlap with the protest sorts that do like merch and "belonging" to a group that has insider lingo. America when it was great, allowed for such things. Pressure to confirm makes it feel culty.
