Wakey Wakey, Does this mean that (soon) we'll be able to afford eggs and bakey?
I thought "bakey" was baked goods.
It took me hours to realize you meant bacon.
It's funny how things come to you. My husband says that on the mornings when he cooks breakfast. Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey. Glad you caught it.
Speaking of which...I have some THICK SLICED BACON that will be cooked in a CAST IRON PAN and the fat that is left over, eggs will be cooked in it....EL YUMMO FOR THE TUMMO!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
note: ONLY on Sunday morning!!!
Yes. And when the grease cools, strain it and keep for seasoning in green beans and other veggies. I have 2 jars in my refrigerator and a bacon dripping can on my stove that I use to strain it through. Yummy. Have a blessed and delicious Sunday morning.
Thank you AND I will...Very Gracious of you to reply. You reminded me of my mother and her mother always had those lil' cans with strainers in them, and I love eating what was in there...WOWZA!!!!
Just call me 'Mom.' I had a young lady on Gab one day where I had answered someones' post about doing things others do, and I said, 'If your friends jumped off a bridge would you do that too?' And this young lady came back and said, 'Mom, is that you?' I thought it was so funny.
I've always liked answering that question with 'is the bridge on fire?'
Okay...Mom IT IS...
Also, Purkiss80...Tango Yankee on BRIGHTENING UP this Sunday Morning...
OUTSTANDING!!!!!👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Ironically, my mother used to ask me about jumping off the bridge when I was growing up. When she got the vax so that her friends wouldn't shun her, I turned it around on her. She did not answer me, but she and my sister got the shot while I was at work one day.
Makes me want collard greens.
Oh yes. I love all the greens except kale. I remember picking 'poke' greens with my grandma and watching her parboil, rinse and then cook them with some fatback or a ham hock or a piece of jowl bacon. Those were the days. Collards, mustard, turnip, poke, mixed, it didn't matter. I still eat them all with a slice of boiled egg, some sliced onion and a slab of buttered skillet baked corn bread. Mmmm! Mmmm!
And dandelion greens! So good!
I make my popcorn in bacon grease in a cast iron pot.
I meant Bearcat Brown instead of Mean Joe Green. Sorry my memory is lapsing.
YES! I remember my father doing that. When the 'Wrestling' would come on on weekends, he would send my sisters to the country grocer around the corner to buy an 8 pack of 16 oz soda's while he popped corn to get ready for the fight. Those were the days of 'Jackie Fargo, Tojo Yamamoto and Mean Joe Green.'
Yea Mean Joe played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and was in the famous coke commercial with the kid in the tunnel. "Here kid, Catch." and he throws him his jersey.
This was how Grandpa taught me to make popcorn many decades ago. First time I can remember eating it this way was up at the cabin watching the Summer Olympics in 1972. Of course back then that was the only channel you could get up in the north country of Michigan and then reception was snowy and on a 13 inch B&W. Thats where I saw Fosberry do his flop and Spitz win his 5 golds.
I say that when waking my youngest son up for school and if he don’t get up it’s shakey shakey.
At least you don't take a match and strike it and then stick it to his big toe. My brother did this to me; may he RIP, and the fight was on.
A grocery store near us had a four day sale. They had eggs for $2.99. People were buying them like crazy. It is hard to believe that not that long ago this would be expensive for eggs.
I hear you. I get mine (Praise the Lord) from kin of my daughter-in-law. She started out at $1 a dozen and now that feed has gone up she charges $2 a dozen. Still much cheaper than the stores. My daughter bought an 18 pack of eggs at Walmart for $7 so now I have my daughter-in-law pick up some extra for her and her 3 kids.
My husband buys eggs off of a guy from work who raises chickens.
We want yo move to Tennessee out of PA get some land and do the same. We are older but we are moving forward.
Great decision. I live in Kentucky and we'd be neighbors. My son-in-law moved here from PA and met my daughter and married her. He likes it here too. Praying you get to move soon my friend. You will love it.
Thank you. We are going to TN mid April to look around eastern TN.
Ah! The Smokey Mountain area. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Dollywood and the like. Unless of course you're going elsewhere. Beautiful mountainous country. Knoxville is beautiful too along with the entire state. West Tennessee is more hill country, South is mountainous as you have Monteagle. And North is more like the West Tn and Western Kentucky area. Hilly. But lots and lots of trees and grass.
Yes we are going to look right outside Knoxville area. He wants to check Rocky Top area.
No. But take a photo of the eggs and bacon so you can tell your grandkids what non-insect food looked like.
Absolutely. And when I get down to that last egg and slice of bacon, I will savor every bite as it may be my last.
By egg and bacon you mean Klaus Schuab back fat?
No, I mean egg and bacon. I wouldn't touch Klaus Schwab with a ten-foot pole, much less eat his back fat. That would be like ingesting Satan himself.
Saluting you with my morning bacon!
Thank you. Husband still asleep as we had a late night. I will be making some too along with some sausage and lil' smokies which he loves with his eggs. Sometimes he asks for biscuits and sausage gravy, but I'm not making that today. He will simply have to Wakey and eat the Bakey.
We had sausage n biscuits for our breakfast. Best part is my husband made it!
Isn't that grand. It always tastes better when someone else cooks it. Unless of course they're a greenhorn.
Nope, I'm blessed, He is a very good cook!
Mine too when I can get him in the kitchen. I remember when he had to retire due to 2 back surgeries and I continued working 12-hour days 5 to 6 days a week. He cooked for me all the time. Then when the 2008 and 2009 layoffs began due to Big Auto and Big Banks, I got laid off. He grabbed me by the hand one night and said, 'Here, let me take you somewhere you haven't been in a while.' Then he showed me the kitchen. Haha.
Eggs and bakey...bitches
Listen 1Pissedoffredhead, 'It is better to be pissed off, than pissed on.' KEK.
LoL! You got that right, sista
Lets reduce this argument. There is a lot of inside stuff.
Think tanks already figured this out 100 years ago, why are we struggling with this ! ?
Every piece of information stated must be proven.
What happened to the silicon bank? it appears insiders took their money out first, what did happen?
What is the current situation? What is the money supply have to do with this? What does a Liquidity Crisis mean, too little, too much? What is the value of the actual paper, is it being removed from the petro dollar?
What does turning on the money supply (debt printers) mean ?
It is Stated: A War coincides when there is a crash. This time the war happened or not (where did it not happen ?) It can be a civil war or attack or a foreign war or a biological war... There is a war in U-Krane, is that happening or not ?
A world war.
Just tell those liberals that their money actually went towards more mansions for Ukrainian generals. They should be just fine with that.
Love wakey ,wakey ! This right there is for reals !
Tick tock
We just bought 20lbs of bakey
Mmmm! You're set for a while. Lucky you. Bet it cost you a fortune.
Should I stock up on gas to run my generator?
Another quick hint I saw either on here or Gab. To save on lighting such as candles and/or fuel oil lanterns, go buy some cheap outdoor solar lights. When the lights go out, bring them inside for lights; especially for the kids who would get burned with a candle if going into a dark bathroom. And it doesn't cost anything to use. And if you don't need them, they will look lovely around a flower bed. I thought this was a great hint. Pass it on.
