I understand what you are intending with your statement. IMO, I am looking more for intelligence than clothing choice. Attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly is essential to someone in a public leadership position. Autocorrect doesn’t help... I am often a victim of autocorrect and it is painful to me.
However- double check important messages.
It is perhaps an improper judgement, but I stand by it.
